weird. when I wasn't logged in, the most recent post was the one from August 12 - but as soon as I logged in, there were 5 posts from today that showed up. Nothing between Aug 12 and today however. Maybe the day's posts don't show up in general until the following day? Someone should check this tomorrow.

Elson is actually a very athletic big man. I am not saying athletic compared to Collins either. lol
He is very athletic for somebody his size. He is 34 but he does not have a lot of miles on him. His NBA career started late (Similar to Raja Bell). He is long and can jump very high in comparison to the other Jazz big man. He can guard the PF or Center position.
BUT Elson is not great at one category. But he isn't horrible at one category either. So its a solid cheap pick up. I don't mind it. I just hope Fesenko gets resigned. My guess is that Elson will get playing time over Fesenko. Who knows.
I see him as a Athletic Jarron Collins. Which means he won't try to do too much. He will know is role and will accept it. I think he will fit in nicely. I would of preferred Mbenga but Mbenga also tries to do too much on offense even though so I don't mind that we chose Elson instead.
He won't lose games for us but won't make a huge impact.
