"The Jazz are bound to shoot [Milos] Teodosic an offer sheet."

Can someone tell me the last euro-pg that came over and was successful in the NBA. For the numbers being thrown out we could get DWill... personally rather go that route.

Seems like the ones that have been successful come over young... not at 30. I don't think he ends up being good.

I'm sure he could make some nifty passes, you know, when he wasn't being destroyed repeatedly on the defensive end.

I also think he'd have a really hard time with the amount of space on an NBA court. His shooting and passing will be an asset, but I would not commit to a multi year deal with him.

I also look at them playing 30 games a year and think he may not be in NBA shape or be able to handle the grind. It's a pass for me.

Milos Teodosic is a top 10 player to look at highlights for on Youtube. **** anyone who doesnt want to see that live in Jazz games.

How many points do we get for youtube views... Cy may be on to something.

The dude plays against Andrew Goudeluck, Mike James, Shane Larkin... not exactly world beaters. Tibor is one of the top shot blockers in that league. Isn't he also kind of odd and a bit of a diva?

Name the last PG who came over from Europe late in his career that had success?

If we got him on a $2M deal then sweet. At the money they are talking... eff no.

Sergio Rodriguez has been good for the young Philly team. Pablo Prigioni has been a decent back-up despite coming into the NBA really old.

Considering Teo is much better than to two, I can't see why he wouldn't have at least a decent season.

I think the biggest problem will be the conditioning.

Neither are worth the money we are talking about and Rodriguez was okay... not sure I'd say he was good.

Last year Satoransky and Delaney also came over as point guards after putting up good numbers... neither was good. Both are in their athletic prime... Milos not so much.

Look if we sign him to Malcolm Delaney money then fine it's an okay gamble, but at the money we are talking about it would be a huge mistake.

The guy has also been the man in that league... now we want him to be a backup or role players too... it all makes me a little queasy... just sayin.

Also, neither of those guys are worth getting "excited" about.

Like I edited in my post, Teo will be much better than those two. And if you are getting Teodosic, you are most probably giving him the starting position. I remember reading that he wants to start or he is not coming.

8 million a year is crazy to you? That is backup rotation player money. Jazz would be stupid not to sign him. Crazy how little respect you are giving to the European basketball.

The Jazz do not have an MLE.

Why don't they have an MLE? I thought it was based on their cap space going into the upcoming season? Wouldn't they be above that threshold if they keep everyone and account for the cap holds for Hayward, Hill, Ingles, Mack and Withey?

I'm not very familiar with the NBA CBA. What has to happen for the Jazz to keep their exceptions?
