The Jazz keep Boozer trade idea.

The Jazz keep Boozer but still shake up the team with this trade:

Utah trades:
Paul Millsap, CJ Miles, Gordan Hayward, future first round pick

Indiana trades:
Danny Granger, Roy Hibbert

Utah's lineup:
Dwill
Mathews
Granger
Boozer/AK
Hibbert/Okur/Fess

Also Realgm had an article the other day about how Danny Granger is available. Pacers also just drafted a player similar to Granger in Paul George.

I'm sorry, but CJ is not stupid. He may talk a little different than us whiteys from SLC, but he definitely has a working brain upstairs. Not sure why I feel like I need to defend him, but I do.

No way in a lifetime that trade happens. Granger is in the top 5 in scoring in the league. He is an all star. To trade your franchise player and a big that keeps getting better for Milly, Hayward, Miles and 1st rounder is crzy. I would take it but they would not.

That line up would contend for a title though

He was foolish enough not to pay for my dinner at Ruby River when we went out....... He made me into a CJ Hater for Life!

Fixed that for you.

And who would play power forward with Millsap gone, Okur recovering and Boozer out with a headache for 4 months after he is shown the money? Boozeris not going to break a sweat if he signs a big contract with the Jaz for a long, long time.

So, the Jazz, basically, would have matched Blazers' offer, in which the money Millsap earns is lessening evey year, to trade him in order to keep Boozer, who does NOT deserve a long term contract and max-money. I know what CArlos is capable of, have seen that he will not improve his game from the level he is currently at. He is a terrific player, and it's certainly difficult to replace him. However, the value fans give Millsap is based on his short career. I believe that Millsap will be even better when he gets the starting job. That's another reason why I'm against keeping Boozer AT ALL COSTS. If CArlos is my team's locker room leader, which some fans claim it to be, motivational leader, than I'm done.

1)AK 17.8
2) Boozer 15(guess)
3) Okur 9.4
4) DWill 14.9
5) Granger 10.9
6) Hibbert 1.6
7) Matthews 4(seems about right)
8) Fess 1
9) Price 1.3

75.9 Million for 9 guys.... So you are looking at about 80M + to fill out the roster. Even if Indy did that. The Jazz would almost certainly have to move AK's money.

Why the hell would Indiana trade us their best player, Danny Granger, for someone not named Deron Williams?

I don't think Indiana would trade their two young cornerstones, Granger and Hibbert, to us for our bench. Getting Danny Granger is my #1 Jazz fan fantasy scenario. I love the guy. Unfortunately, it's just not realistic. (But if it was, I'd love to trade Boozer and CJ Miles and a future first-rounder for Granger and one of Indiana's garbage contracts like T.J. Ford. If we still had Eric Maynor to throw into the mix, I think it might even approach the realm of the possible. In that scenario, Indiana would get a PG, which they badly need, a PF, which they badly need, a future asset, and a "good"* player to plug-in in C.J. Miles.)

(*You'd just have to hope they're dumb enough to actually think C.J. wasn't horrible.)

Of course, we don't have Maynor... Maybe there's a way for us to get Collison from NO. Hayward for Collison? Then Boozer in a S&T, CJ, Collison, and a future first rounder to Indiana for T.J. Ford and Danny Granger?

I'd do it in a second, and I think Indiana might consider it.

Fixed that for you.

Suggesting that white people have a monopoly over effective communication is more offensive than you think. But I guess it's easier to be politically correct than truly reflective.
