I don't think people have turned against him..... I know I haven't.
But he'd did in fact suck in summer league and it is ok to talk about it.

Step back from the ledge thriller, it will be ok.
If we talk about the struggles we have seen from burke it doesn't mean he won't improve.... everything will be ok buddy
 
I think Trey Burke improves and becomes a decent to solid player. I'm not seeing all-star though.
 
Just a thought guys......................I saw an interview with Burke and him saying, to be like Paul as a point guard, he was going to have to become much stronger. I think he has been pumping the weights hard and it has thrown his shot off. I am not afraid at all that this was a bad pick.
 
As a result of the recent summer league criticisms, I was inspired to create this. Please forgive me for posting it in another thread as well, but I wanted it preserved in this thread which will be stickied when he wins ROY and Finals MVP in a couple years:

I still don't get why being the 9th or so pick and being traded in a drafted as good as troutbum fishes, he's being touted as a savior. Lord knows I hope I'm wrong and my heart stops.

His name is Gordon Hayward... I mean Derrick Favors... I mean Enes Kanter.

I mean we don't need any saviors, we've got 'em already.
 
USA Basketball Mini camp players are dropping like flies. So today They added two pgs and a sf.

Trey Burke was not one of them.

George Hill, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist & Marcus Smart added to Team USA mini-camp roster. Camp is July 22-24 in Vegas. Kawhi Leonard is out.

1) I nearly forgot we drafted Burke....
 
Burke is not a savior he is just what the Jazz need. Summer League cannot be a reason to feel down on him. Even the rookie season is not. A player that is not a one and done is better for a rebuilding process.I can't believe that people can be so suddenly down on him after a single stupid summer league as they would have been cheering for him if je showtimed the same lamer tourney.

I didnt watch SL games and i think no matter how hard he sucked, that games might be deceiving. I cant get either that why people so down on him. Enes had a bad summer league too last year, i was lurking that time and i saw the real hate in Enes haters' eyes.. i mean posts but later, after pre-season games started they -well, most of them- come to the conclusion that hating from him was pointless and unfair. I say lets just dont judge so early and wait till we have a good material in our hands like half or one season to be able to judge him.
