What's new

The Jazzfanz Official "Let's hold hands and pray for Trey Burke"/ KOLinds Please Draft Burke thread.

Oh please Dala. With a few exceptions (orangello, beantown come to mind) most have. Not liking his summer league performance, be honest it sucked, does not mean we were down on Burke. While not as big a fan as you meany of us have been thrilled with the Burke pick.

I think ill agree to disagree. There was definitely anti-Burke sentiments from more than 2-3 posters.

But anywho. Great game by Burke, man. He totally looked like college-Burke. His screen-and-roll IQ is off the charts

Being critical of his performance does not mean we are down on him. I am a Hayward fan and I think he has had some horrendous games.

Edit: But agreed. Great game from Burke. I am excited to have him back. Been waiting for this.

It was WAY more than being critical of his performances.

I don't have much enthusiasm to carry on this conversation. I'm just happy he's with the Jazz. Wheu!!

Good me either lol. Now that he is back I am excited to see him play. Hope hee keeps that shooting while upping his assists and what not. Very curious to see how Burke being back will affect Burks time, Haywards TOs and how the bigs are feed the ball.

Any ESPN insiders around here that want to tell us where ESPN put Trey Burke on the rookie watch list?

#25 in top 50 rookie rankings. I don't see a new "rookie watch" feature like he's done previously though. Do you have the link?

Edit: Listed as the first "Other Notable" outside the top ten.

David Thorpe's Analysis
November 21, 2013

Nov. 21: Burke made his debut Wednesday night and showed his immense talent in scoring 11 points in 12 minutes on 5-for-8 shooting. Burke scored with quickness, with craft (off-hand scoops) and with his outstanding perimeter shot. He made some "bad" shots that will not go down often, but Jazz fans have to be thrilled with what they saw in his first game overall. Remember, this 6-foot guard dominated college hoops last season.

Okay, found it. He's the first listed "Other Notable" outside the top ten. It has the same blurb that I listed above from the top 50 rankings.

I think that is fair. No need to place him top 10 when he has played 1 game for 12 minutes. I expect him to rapidly crack top 10, top 5 and then top 3 once he starts playing.

Good assessment, I'd say. I love how he went to the rim. When Burke slows down and gets comfortable.....damn. Were gonna have a player on our hands.

This is the *Official* Trey Burke song (since Outkast couldn't make one but made a bunch of annoying pop music that burns out our eardrums **** Tyrone).

Deciding if I should hold out for a bit, before I bump each and every single Burq=Busst post. Jazzfanz = tarded tbph
