Ironically any additional meanings of a word are not inherent. They are due to excessive use of that word in an analogous fashion and eventually become "adopted" as an alternate meaning of the original word. So theoretically yes all of the alternate meanings are in a sense wrong because they are not the one true definition of the word that was intended at its conception.2. Probably very few words have one, and only one, meaning. It doesn't mean that any of the different meanings are "wrong."
Kind of like "douche". So many meanings to that word.
