The NBA and PB&J's

Funny how we all try to avoid white breads nowadays but it's actually ideal for the players.

I dont think the article ever said ideal, just said it wasn't terrible. The Warriors thing kind of highlighted that. Yes, you can force your team to be 100% healthy, but that ignores the psychological element and will more likely just upset your players. And in the Howard portion (I think) it said the team got him to switch to sourdough bread.

I'm slow...I was picturing just a slab of butter on dry bread but toasted bread with melted butter on PB sounds good.

Buttered bread is good.

Peanut butter on bread is good.

I would think peanut butter would be good on buttered bread.

I've had pb and butter sandwiches and they are good, even though I agree that they sound gross.

I have tried enough things that sound gross but are actually good that I leave the door open as an option for some of these crazy ideas.

It does come back to bite me though at times because there are plenty of ideas that sound gross, and are worse than they sound.

This isn't one of them.

The Associative Food Property

If A taste good on B and A taste good on C, then A will taste good combined with B and C.

Sea Salt is great on poached seabass. Sea salt is good on caramel ice cream. So sea salt caramel ice cream on poached seabass should be awesome.

If you want to disprove The Associative Food Property you have try that combination and report back to us. You also have to film it.

And you really put salt on your ice cream? There is already salt in that stuff man, no need to put more on top.

And now that I think of it, can salt really be considered a food? Salt is in everything pretty much, so I dont think it adheres to the laws since it is always present.

You backpedal pretty good.

Lutefisk is said to be good with butter. Butter is great on cinnamon rolls. So lutefisk and butter on cinnamon rolls must be fantastic!

Not sure whats so special about it. Peanut butter in general is gross and sandwich with no meat can only be good if it has some seafood on it. Otherwise is rubbish.

Depends on who defines it - "Meat is sometimes also used in a more restrictive sense to mean the flesh of mammalian species (pigs, cattle, lambs, etc.) raised and prepared for human consumption, to the exclusion of fish, other seafood, poultry or other animals".

But sure if you want to nitpick - seafood is a technically a meat.
