The next great rivalry

PG is really good... those saying they wouldn’t pay him or would rather have Aaron Gordon can GTFO.

I’d max him out in a second and we’d be fantastic.
I doubt he would come here but he would be an awesome fit for the Jazz. He can defend very well, shoot and create for himself. I am not sure if his personality would fit in but if he was willing to sign here that is a good indicator he would fit in.

I was very pro trying to trade for him. I thought it would have convinced Hayward to stay. Looking back I am glad with how things are going but... If we had traded for him and Hayward stayed because of that it might have slowed some of Mitchells development but he is good enough he would have developed. Rubio, Mitchell, Hayward, PG13 and Gobert is an incredible starting lineup with an incredible bench.

Although at this point I would prefer to think about what it would be like to get one more all-star level 2 way player and PG13 fits that mold.

But who knows what options we will have after we win the championship this year or if we will even want to worry about chemistry adding anyone else.

Paul George has always played in average offensive systems. He'd probably be amazing in Utah, but who knows. The Jazz would have to renounce the rights to everyone and trade Burks to be able to afford him. They'd probably do it, but they would have to replace a lot of their roster with minimum contracts.

And DL and Quin would turn them all into Royce’s!

It basically can’t happen unless they facilitate a sign and trade. The sign and trade would have to involve AB, Jonas, Udoh, Thabo and likely Crowder... maybe Tony would give them enough salary. Likely cost us a pick too...

It’s basically not at all possible. We don’t need him... I wonder if the Jazz and Klay has anything to it... andy Larsen mentioned it in passing... I’ve basically said we won’t get a top shelf guy in FA.

We likely get KD if we beat the warriors... then can sign all the ring chasers.

George is good but not supermax good - he takes way too many jumpers - his shot chart is horrid for anyone who doesn't have a lights out jumper, his advanced stats are very middle of the road and last year he was the worst clutch shooter in the NBA according to Tim MacMahon.

Jazz already have a #1. They need a solid second option and a guy to come of the bench that can hit some shots = 55+ wins next year.

And f___ Aaron Gordon, whoever maxes that guy out this summer is going to regret it by Christmas.

Pretty sure you just described what we need when you talked about PGs game.

He’s a great defender and one of the only guys that can really give KD and LBJ problems.

All I know is that the Pacers improved with him gone and I don't recall OKC's record last year but it doesn't seem like he improved the team that much, I also remember him not being much of a team guy last year being a whinny bitch about not getting the last shot in a playoff game last year. I've never felt him as a star that wins

So when he carried his team to game 7 against Lebron's team who went on to win the Championship that wasnt star level enough for you?

Yes, he wasnt that good last year. He wanted out of Indiana. There is some stuff with possibly not being a good teammate although OKC players this year would disagree. I wouldnt trade for him now but if he wanted to sign here that would mean he wants to be here and wants to win. He has the talent and ability to win and be a star like he has done already.

Besides we have a star in Mitchell and even Gobert. We need a complimentary wing scorer who plays good defense. PG13 is one of the best at that in the NBA and one of 3 players that will be a FA this off-season. Lebron and Durant being the other 2.

Indiana improving has more to do with Oladipo becoming a star this year than PG13 leaving. But some of the turmoil surrounding PG13 did hurt the team last year.

But this is a moot point. PG13 has no interest in coming to Utah.

Then **** him and the whores he rode in on. At this point he needs us more than we need him. Where else could he go with a future like Utah?

I dont want pg at his salary

Back when we were 19-28 or whatever, I kept saying all we needed was Mirotic. Nothing’s changed. We don’t need any of these bitch-*** MOFOs, we just need Niko.

He likes to fish... someone call mailman and arrange a date.

I still think we can get him this summer... and I think it will be a bargain price for the impact we will get.

Seems like justification to me. When he was younger he wasn't the entitled whinny bitch he is now, and not a team player. He'd mess with our team chemistry and hasn't won anything and also doesn't trust his own shot these days.
