The Non-Jazz NBA Thread in the Jazz Section

I don't understand why you guys give Hardy the benefit of the doubt with these young guys. Sometimes the coach is just a dumbass and that might be the case with Hardy. This is the same guy last year that didn't like NAW even though he was clearly our best perimeter defender and was showing signs of being a great glue that every team needs. It would sure be nice to have NAW's perimeter defense right now rather than the train wreck that we are watching. I don't think it is a very good sign as a coach when basically every young guy has regressed from the previous season and to top it off he forces strange rotations that make the game more difficult for everyone.
Brother NAW currently has shooting splits that make THT look like Ray Allen (and that's on a loaded team where good shots are actually generated for him)

Taylor is clearly not ready. So going to G league for development is the best way to give him a chance. After the question of trading at 9 for a not ready guy is another issue.....

Watching hendricks g-league game he’s a bit slow, looks very long and can block. Maybe play him some nba minutes? We’re the worst defensive team anyways

What gleague game are you watching?

I don’t think it’s a bad thing that rookies get sent to the G-League. But both Brice and Taylor were both guys who I thought could play early. I certainly didn’t have them as “hell no” in terms of their readiness. Ultimately it doesn’t mean much, most rookie players are very bad anyways. But I’m a notch lower on both since the draft.

The reality is that the gleague is good to keep guys in shape but there is just no substitute for these guys getting meaningful nba minutes as well. If thing really get out of control over the next month then you have to expect the front office to demand that Hardy find rotation minutes for Taylor and Brice like they did last year with Ochai.

Geez SGA made only 1 three pointer and scored 43 points. Dont see that very often these days.

Caught part of the OKC/Cle game. Donovan is putting up numbers but he just looks a little bit "checked out" to me. Maybe it's my imagination but I don't think so. The Cavs are playing pretty bad. Garland is a turnover machine. If given the choice I would take Chet over Mobley.

Turns out the grass is the exact same ****ing colour and consistency on the neighbour's side, as well. Who'd have thunk it?

I am not fan enough to follow only one team. This will help me this year as im afraid , the season will be long and painful for us. I follow Minny games and feel really happy for Mike and Rudy.. They play well and their team play the baske i like most (where defense is important). When i look the way Ant fight in defense, it still make me upset Don never try to make it. We could have been close to win a title if he play a bit of defense.

I really miss Rudy and Mike. sob
I'm happy for them but definitely don't miss them. Being stuck in that middle tier with no way to get better was way worse than what we are seeing right now. Everyone one of these butt whoopings is one step closer to the full on youth movement that needs to happen this year.

It's time to start talking about the rockets as a playoff team. They look awesome and Sengun is looking like a young Sabonis with his playmaking from the center position.

I was pretty hyped last year for the Wolves season but they burned me. I guess I should start paying attention again now that Rudy has a legit ring chance.
