SGA and Tatum are the cheapest MVP level dudes in the nba. (#34 and #39 on the list)

Jalen brunson is a steal at 26 million. #52 on the list (I was way wrong about him. Never thought he would be anywhere close to this good)

Is Ben Simmons the #1 most overpaid player in the nba? (averaging under 7 points per game the last two years when he was 26 and 27 years old. years when he should be at his best. I know, injuries but still)
He shot 40.0% from the free throw line last season lol.

I’ll recap the game for you. Orlando drives to nowhere, kicks out to iffy shooter who drives to know where, bad shot or turnover.

Cavs just have too much length for them inside. They need a couple guys that can really threaten the defense from the three point line.

There just isn’t a natural spot for them to improve on unless they really go all in. But would it have made sense for them to go all in for a guy like Siakam? They don’t have a ton in the treasure chest.

Sabonis is just a tough fit with another non shooter. The deal with him was it was gonna work to a certain point but stop unless you get a unicorn.

They have the 13th/14th pick and most of their own picks moving forward. I think they can make one pretty big move if they go all in. Likely best move is patience… they suck at that.

Eh...I don't think fitting around Sabonis is their issue, their overall talent level just isn't very high imo. They don't stack up well compared to the playoff teams.

It’s a big part of it. To have a competent defense they likely need a tim protecting center or PF. If they get one that can’t space the floor a bit then their main action/offensive advantages will suffer. They haven’t maxed out all their options in the backcourt or on the wing. I think Sabonis is a regular season force but his limitations will lead them to being significantly less effective in the post season in most matchups.
 
If Orlando would have used their space for Max Strus instead of Joe Ingles I think they’d be able to beat this Cavs team. They just have no one you are afraid of out there at all.
 
This series looks like it will be spicy at least.
 
Was really hoping we would get a game 1 Orlando win followed by a Donovan “we know what we need to do we just need to do it” quote.

They had a competent defense this year, and I think the areas that were lacking have very little to do with the fit with Sabonis. Sabonis is the only + usage guy who is above average TS. You can't blame that on a Sabonis fit, because that is a purely offensive struggle and they do not play with two bigs. Fact is, their ball handlers/wings just aren't that good. Fox, Monk, Huerter, Murray are all below average efficiency players. If the Kings were actually playing with two bigs the whole time or struggling on defense you could blame it on that. That was not the case.

We are way too quick to say this guy or that guy is a ceiling limiter when they are not in a good situation. Besides, the Kings aren't even aiming for the highest ceiling. I think they'd be perfectly content to be a consistent playoff team but they don't have the overall talent to do so in the west. I don't think that roster is very good in general. If you took Sabonis off that roster, there are only a handful of players in the entire NBA who you could put on that team and make me think that's a playoff roster. Given that Sabonis is never hurt, he's probably one of the best regular season producers in the league anyways which is what they want.
