The Non-Jazz NBA Thread in the Jazz Section

Was anyone seriously thinking they should? I remember practically 0 banter about that.
Locke was actually very high on him and brought him up a lot, so if you buy the theories that he is very tied in with FO vibes on the draft, the Jazz might have had him near the mix.

I just went back to the draft discussions and I think I might have been the highest on him, and I had him 8th on my big board, he was also my homer pick. Not that I want a cookie or anything, it's still super early.

I also found a post of mine talking about how even though I liked McCain, I didn't think he would have been a good fit for the Jazz since we already have 100 combo guards.

Classic Melo game. 50 points and his team loses. Meanwhile the excruciating Hornets announcer screams after every basket like it's the NBA finals... but his team is 6-10 and they suck.

Lamelo is a very good player. One the the best offense players in the league supported by all advance metrics. They really got something cooking in Charlotte with him and Brandon Miller and honestly if you watch this highlight video you would have very similar reaction to their announcer cuz Melo is really capable of making some spectular shots that's worth every penny you paid on tickets. If they ever add a third piece and avoid all the injuries which they are having A LOT at the moment, they could be OKC of the east.

You were cooking until the last part and you took all of what you cooked and took a big dump over it.

Hornets just lost Grant Williams for the season. I didn't think he was a great player, but now they are down 3 C's. As long as LaMelo is healthy they can be a competitive team (in the east) but their any team who loses all their C's is gonna struggle.

They gonna be fine in that regards cuz they seem to have the golden touch when it comes to finding backup Cs(DL take note). First Nick Richards now Diabate who's been a monster on the glass lately. They just need that third piece who can provide some additional fire power in the post to supplement Melo/Miller. Like a Chet/Lauri/JJJ. That's what they were hoping when they drafted Salaun.
