What's new

The Non-Jazz NBA Thread in the Jazz Section

This is kind of surreal. Also, they could have easily called defensive 3 seconds on that play. Dray locked himself in the paint without really directly guarding anyone for some time on that play.
Defensive 3 seconds apparently doesn't apply when you're the guy guarding the ball handler (something I learned yesterday after seeing all the discussion about this play).

I’ve seen some great games this year.

Jazz miracle ending vs the Warriors.

Jazz barn-burner vs. the Cavs when Mitchell came back.

Jazz OT Magic vs. OKC last week.

Boston getting the win vs. Philly last week.

Knicks/Heat was another barn-burner. Heat down big early, only to pull back into a tie with a minute left. Julius Randle hits a great shot +1, Herro gets fouled and hots both shots, Brunson gets doubled and trapped, Herro steals the ball and lays it up to take a 1 point lead, Knicks have 23 seconds, Heat putting on pressure, almost get another steal, Butler bodies Randle out near half-court, knocks the ball out of his hand, Randle gets it back and takes a prayer 3 that splashes with 1.1 left on the clock. Heat botch the final inbound and it’s stolen by Randle - who finished with 43 (I think.) Helluva game.

Definitely need the Clippers to start winning some games now. The Rockets don’t need any more lottery tickets - no matter how small the odds might be.

You mean the thunder don't need any more lotto tickets.

That is correct. It looks like the Thunder get the pick if it jumps up. Rockets then should get whatever pick is left over after they swap the Bucks pick with the pick the Clippers end up with.

It is crazy how many games each night we are now paying attention to because of our picks. How great would it be to see the Pelicans, Lakers and Clippers win tonight.
