Pretty sure at this point we already won more games than Spurs/Pistons/Wizards will end up winning for the entire season. The tank is dead @Thee Idiotic Minivan K
We can’t stop winning and now Memphis is in the mix for a top pick for real.
We gonna waste these assets anyway if we don't move them by deadline. THT and KO are pretty much goners in the summer. Simone and Dunn's status are TBD. We lose them for nothing if we don't trade them now. Who we gonna bring in FA as their replacement? Probably no one. It’s gonna be Big AL/Millsap/Marvin all over again.I swear if trader dan decides to make some foolish trade to go for a playin spot and wasting an asset or two I’m going to be pissed.
Did haliburton get hurt? Only played a few minutes in a big, close game

For whatever reason, I started out thinking this was a TJF post and after the second sentence I was about to blow a fuse.Good riddance. I never lost hope for the playoffs. We are a playoff caliber team. And that's a good thing. We still have a **** ton of picks to build this team right with

That I will buy 100%. It seems the parity in the West is reaching insane levels, and the fact that we have 3 teams in the running to win less than 15 games sort of tells you about the competitiveness of all the other teams. I mean tank jobs have existed in the past, but right now Pistons are on pace to break Bobcats record of .106 win% while Spurs are simultaneously almost on the same pace as the worst year Process Philly had (and they were playing guys who didnt belong in the NBA at all). It's the quality of the NBA. Less teams trying to tank.
Or draft Sarr.Morant being officially out for the season on an injury might be a blessing in disguise for Memphis.
Take that pick to the off-season and trade it for a big time contributor.
That dude isnt close to ready to contribute at the NBA level IMO.Or draft Sarr.
Nobody is trading something good for a pick in this lousy draft. It is the exact worst time to be forced into a tank. Memphis is probably hosed for a bit.Morant being officially out for the season on an injury might be a blessing in disguise for Memphis.

Ehh, you can definitely still get something good. You might be able to get Kuzma from the Wizards or Grant from the Blazers. Obviously it's not the best draft to be bad in, but a top 5 pick is going to get you nice pieces back regardless.Nobody is trading something good for a pick in this lousy draft. Kuzma is kind of like the Clarkson of combo forwards. IDK if I would even trade Collins for him straight up.Collins + 1st for Kuz? Sign me up. That could supercharge this team. Kuz in our zone would work well and the offense would be scorching.
Was thinking last night... Sexton might be the Randle of shooting guards. Some deficiencies and will oscillate between having it rolling and leaving you wanting more but seems to make progress with his issues even if its not amazing consistent progress.Kuzma is kind of like the Clarkson of combo forwards. Top 5 will still yield something better than Grant or Kuz imo. Yes I would trade back if that worked out but also wouldn't hesitate to add a high level prospect. Not like the Grizz are an old team.Ehh, you can definitely still get something good. You might be able to get Kuzma from the Wizards or Grant from the Blazers. Or you can do a trade back thing where you get a pick in the mid teens for your top 5 pick. Grab a quality rotation/starter and target an upperclassmen in the mid-draft who can contribute now like a McCullar/Filipowski/
I would. Lauri doesn't need touches so Kuz can do the volume scoring. Hardy can guide him and the team won't have lulls on offense. Plus his defense is better than Collins.Kuzma is kind of like the Clarkson of combo forwards. IDK if I would even trade Collins for him straight up.
