Wolves should have sent a double-team to Luka. Hindsight, I know, but let Derrick Jones try to beat you instead. Luka's been doing that **** all his life.
Looking at the replay. Rudy should have guarded the 3pt line without reacting instead of guarding Luka. Don't start dancing with Luka. Make Luka side-step.
Minnesota choked that game away. Pretty crazy they’re one or two plays from being up 2-0. That’s basketball for you.
Also, KAT should be winning his matchup with PJ Washington, but instead he didn't even play late in the game. Maybe Dallas found a way to attack him?

Luka is just that dude. Kyrie is right there with him too.
He’s gassed because he’s guarding Kyrie on the other end. People don’t realize how hard that is and how much energy he is expending.

For the record he also took Tony Bradley over Derrick White and Josh Hart. Just some historically bad drafting at display. DL only has Tim Connelly to thank for gifting him Don and Rudy or else he surely would be in the conversation for one of the worst GMs in history when it comes to talent evaluation.

Oof. Minnesota is in trouble. Ant can’t be the 4th best player on the floor behind Luka, Kyrie, and Naz. This series is going to be short if he can’t figure out his ****. Why did Minnesota stop blitzing the screen and roll? Luka and kyrie score almost every time they aren’t trapped and forced to give up the rock.
I'm watching this replay. Wovles should have proactively and aggressively run a trap at Luka when Dallas tried to isolate him. Make him give up the ball or beat a double-team. There wasn't much time for Dallas to reset and get Luka or Kyrie the ball again.
Superstars, man. That's what it comes down to.

The non-call on Kyrie fouling McDaniels in the final minute was huge.
At least that didn't happen against Utah. The last thing we need is another one of these 'Bryon Russell getting shaken off' moments getting replayed over and over.
