The Number 1 solution to the jazz problems

Was talking to my buddy last night askew drove to the game and I think the best possible solution right now for the jazz organization is for Greg miller to contact Jon huntsman and get him to buy a majority ownership in the jazz.

It would feel so much better knowing that the jazz had the backing of a multi billion dollar company. It would mean the opportunity for the jazz to go out and make some gambles. Like for an instance the proposed trade of memo for Hamilton who I believe would be the solution to some of woes.

I dont think the hunts mans would try to micro manage the h*** out of the organization. Let the experts do what they know how to do best and build a quality product that has a shot at a championship. Instead of an owner that is more worried about the green that is in his pocket. When in truth AT&T Greg is doing is alienating jazz fans by not putting a quality product on the floor.

So continually gambling is the way to make sure we've got a quality team on the floor?

Not continually gambling but we will never win anything always playing it safe. If the jazz took a gamble and lost a couple million over a 2 year span wouldn't be as devastating. The millers don't have to give up everything

Well, is there anything that makes you think Huntsman is looking to get into NBA ownership? Probably bad timing if he's also thinking about running for Pres.

There is a reason why the Huntsman family are billionaires and it didn't come from making risks that don't make sense.
Even if he is a billionaire it isn't going to change the fact that the Jazz can only make a certain amount of money. And Huntsman is not going to spend more money than he is making and be in the negative each year just to make fans happy.

Our problem is not a spending problem. Even the owner of the Grizzlies finally came to his senses and realized he has to spend money to win. The Millers have spent plenty of money to keep this Jazz team good.

The problem is not the owner. The problem is Sloan or O'Connor not liking changes. And not adapting when the league adapts. We have a great system but the little things that need to be changed are not being changed. Its not a financially situation.

well, if we weren't so much about money, we could've had both Matthews and Korver on the team ... we would've had a defensive stopped and all around scorer, plus the league's best or close to best shooter on the team. Now tell me, where do you think we would be now with Matthews and Korver on this team instead of Bell and Ronnie Price?

The Number 1 solution to the jazz problems is to make two threads as quickly as possible.

You really think the #1 solution for the Jazz's problem is ownership? Wow, there's a reason I don't read that many threads in the Jazz forum anymore. Other than that chime, have a good day, guy.

I can't believe i agree with Archie. This is a /fail thread.

How have you not heard of the Larry Miller enterprise consisting of over 50 ****ing car dealerships alone? The guy didn't die broke, ya know. "Let's find a rich guy" Pffff.
