Well I was thinking about watching it, I never have, but now I am having second thoughts. Seems the consensus is I should watch through season 3 and that's it.

I'm kidding. I like The Office.

My favorite current shows are Mad Men, The Killing, Top Chef, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Entourage, Boardwalk Empires, The Office, Shark Tank, and Law and Order SVU. I may be forgetting a couple others as well.

I started Breaking Bad and gave up after two episodes. The Wire's my favorite "show" ever.

One sorta related stuff, I just finished watching all the episodes of Parks and Rec...wow its hilarious. Not as good as the Office (when the office was at its peak) but I'd much rather watch that now than the office.

I 100% agree with you. I also think that the casting of Parks and Rec was much better than the office, which will hopefully help keep the quality up for awhile longer.

I watched the first five or so episodes of Parks and Rec and never came back. I have heard from multiple reliable sources that it improved dramatically but I'm just not willing to give it another chance. Part of this is stubbornness but part of it is also that Parks and Rec cast two of my least favorite actors presently working: Rashida Jones (who you'd have never heard of if her last name was anything else) and Aziz Ansari (who I deem aggressively unfunny.)

I thought the same thing, first season isn't that good, but so was The Office in its first season. Both had spectacular 2nd seasons...plus its worth watching Lowe in Season 3, his character is great.
