The Official 2014/15 Tank Watch thread

Hate to be a buzzkill, but Boston and Brooklyn are both playoff teams as of now. Indiana was a good win, but right now we need Charlotte and more so Miami to win in order to move up.

Miami has Philly and Orlando remaining on their schedule. Indiana can edge us too, if you look at our remaining schedule.

I've written off Charlotte.

I'm expecting we can be 10th.

Agree with writing off Charlotte. Miami and Indiana are the teams to watch.

3 more games left,... can we lose all 3 without demoralising our young core too much? May be we can pray for close losses?

Can't wait to be out of the effin lotto... I hate that I'm somewhat happy about that loss. At least the other teams are doing their part. Friggin Miami should have won last night.

The 'Following potential 2015 draftees' is ok but I can't wait for this 'rooting for losses' piece of turd thread to die once and for all...

I'm not rooting for losses, but I'm not crying about it if they do. Long-term, this was always going to be a throw-away, learning and development year. If they win, good. They're learning to win. If they lose, fine. They're not hurting their ability to draft another quality player to add to their already very solid roster.

Losses can be beneficial IF you learn something from the experience. Whether that's Quin, or Hayward, or Gobert, or Exum. . . it doesn't matter. If by losing tonight, they learn to win in the future, then it was a good loss. I've loved their focus and response to losing this season. They fight harder. Total opposite of last year where they seemed defeated before they even started the games. That bodes well for the future.

Getting sick of the uninformed. I think we all agree that Hood will be a stud, but there are a couple of people who insist on their blah blah blah, as if it will never matter who we draft, cuz we have to win these last few games that will mean absolutely not a damn thing. Stupid.
And there is no ****in' way that Mario Herbozangas is better than Hood. No ****in' way. . .

Uninformed? Hell if we trade up, don't waste the pick on Mario. What he is supposed to give us, we already know we have in Hood. Get a replacement for Millsap, somebody that can play d off the bench, or get the spare big that we need.

Anyway, we probably won't get him, and I would never suggest trading hood to trade up(I love him, too), but believing in Hood doesn't mean Hezonja couldn't be an unbelievable addition to this team. Sorry, but your complete dismissal of Hezonja suggests that you are uninformed. Deal with it.

Does this mean that if you already have a good wing player like hood or Wes Matthews on the team and a player like Jordan or durant is available then we should not take them (since we already have a good wing who can score) and instead should draft a player like Tony Allen because he has a different skillset than hood?

Ok, so you prefer a far inferior player to Hezonja, good plan. Mario might be a bust and he 's borderline arrogant, which could be good or bad. We don't know yet. Draft is such a crap shoot and hood has been good so I don't see the need to trade him for a greater unknown.

Also, your over confidence in Mario renders you uninformed. Deal with it. Hahaha
