What's new

The Official Blow up the team thread.

Wait so the guards get a pass for leaving three point shooters open the entire second half, especilly the strech when the starters were on the bench, simply because of AL'S effort on defense?

How about Al's critics hold others accountable for once, when a loss isn't actually his fault. Especilly when the biggest reason we lost, was a stretch led by the bench when the starters weren't on the court, when we loss all momentum.
Jefferson was in during that stretch. The lineup when our lead went from 15-8 and momentum was lost for good was Jefferson, Favors, Hayward, Foye and Watson.
.
Watson turned the ball over twice and Jefferson once. Favors did not even touch the ball. The run for the Hawks started almost immediately upon Watson entering the game.
.
At least that is what I remember. I did not record it so can't go back and check.

Who here bought jerseys, season tickets, etc last season and this season? Thanks for enabling the Miller's model.

Imagine the Jazz like the Charlotte Bobcats, it could be worse.

I know it has been better, I agree it could be better, I am uncertain if losing is the way to win in the long run. I'm just at a time and place where I am glad for what I have.
We are not asking for them to throw games. We want the more talented and younger players to see more floor time. I for one am not convinced that it would effect W/L record as much as some fear.

The official - this would hold more weight after a win vs loss thread.

Two and Three words phrases who want us to tank

Washington Wizards
Charlotte Bobcats
New Orleans Hornets
Toronto Raptors
New Jersey Nets

Losing for the sake of high draft picks is certainly not a sure bet. The point is that the goal is to win a championship; you need top tier talent to accomplish that goal; for a small market like Utah, the most realistic way we have to get a top talent is by drafting them. If we aren't willing to take the risk of tanking/drafting, then what is the alternate strategy we should be implementing to win a championship?

Just go watch the Lakers get stomped by Durant.

Make you feel better.

Amazing how much better teams are with that star.

Me! i have went to many games, and bought a millsap, favors, and burks jersey in the last few years. I can be dissappointed and still supportive at the same time.

Blow up...no. Change the minute allocation and go with a youth movement? Yes. I'm ok with losing if we are building for the future...the young 4 have to get good minutes to get better

The Charlotte Bobcats will get MJ 3.0 in 18 months and they'll be better than us in 24.

My God what a bunch of whiners. Jazz played their cards for the long terms. You have to be patient. Did your doc said you'll kiss your ace goodbye in 6 months or something? Cheer up people. It's just a bad run. It'll get more enjoyable soon.

Imagine if the Jazz were OKC, playing their young players and sucking for a few years to where they are now. Being average is being stuck on a ferris wheel for your entire life.
