What's new

The official "I Heart Gordon Hayward" Thread.

Gordon does pretty much everything and has a knack for filling up a stat sheet. Being from Small Town USA and from his demeanor, it doesn't seem like he would have a problem sticking around here for a long time. His toughness & attitude reminds me of Stockton. Just comes to work every day and probably doesn't realize how good he's going to be. He's just doing his job and loves the game, isn't into the lifestyle. Heck, after he signed his contract and bought a Honda Accord. He still eats at the Olive Garden & Subway.

I love his attitude. And the little edge he is starting to show. Like when he pointed Afflalo's way to the locker room. Nothing to get ejected over but it made a point.

Great numbers from a kid who just turned 22.

I am the biggest Gordon Hayward fan. Much bigger than anyone here.

I think he will go down as the best white basketball player ever.

No, I never predicted he would be an all star I simply thought he would be the best player available and it is basically coming down to him and Paul George. Both of them are turning into to very good players and bring different things to the court...I'm not sure who will turn out being the better player in the end.

I'm amazed at Hayward's play, especially in transition and as a creator on the offensive end. He's really impressed me this year. Sneaky athleticism and great lateral quickness.

Um, this is not the official I heart Gordon Hayward thread. There is only one true church; there is only one true thread.

Where does he sit on the White American Power Rankings? Obviously Love is #1 (and will probably hold this position for 10+ years), but where's Gordo on the list?

I don't think he qualifies. I'm pretty sure he did not check the white (non-hispanic) box on his HR paperwork.
