That's right, I love him. He's not leaving us in 2012. It isn't his fault that Sloan retired. He's a Top 10 NBA Player and he's going to lead us to many a championship.

I support DW 100 percent until actual proof is shown that he doesn't want to be here. For now, he is the only hope that Utah has of being any good. He just needs to get healthy and to get a few missing pieces.
 
Deron's not a perfect person, and neither am I. I have always felt like he gives pretty straight answers and lately he is even owning his shortcomings. I have yet to see a trade I prefer to keeping him here. Go DWill!

Thank you for this thread. Im sick of hearing everyone bash DWill. If we want this team to succeed we need to stick behind our best player...

Deron is a bit arrogant but he also is one of the best players in the NBA. He just needs to be a little cooler in his demeanor. Could learn a thing or two from Stockton in that. On the other hand, I pretty much agree with him about management. I think this was the underlying current in his disagreements with Jerry, and the reason for him wanting to leave Utah.

I share this optimistic view. That being said, if he really does want to leave I hope the Jazz can manage to trade him for some assets.

But he's a Jazzman so far, so he gets my support.

Agreed.

Scary part is the Jazz have a history of letting guys walk. If he does leave we really need to get some assets back.
 
I don't have a problem with Deron at all. I think a lot of people have him under a microscope here and magnify every little thing he does and then turn it negative. The man has an extreme competitive nature and get this, WANTS TO WIN. If anything we need more players with his kind of passion for the game, maybe if we had more we would be the #1 seed right now.

Deron is always honest in his answers and plays to win the game every time out even if he's having a bad night. He is our team's leader and we would be absolultely retarded to go all negative nancy on him and run him out of town.

Deron is the best PG in the game today, bar-none.
