The Official Ideal Draft Thread

Assuming the Jazz stay at 10, 29 and 32, while keeping it realistic, what would your ideal draft look like?

For me, it would be wing heavy, but i go

10. Holland
29. Scheierman
32. Dadiet

Holland, Diadet, Freeman

Young, I know, but that would add some more athleticism and perimeter defense. The league is a dynamic-wing league. Jazz should try to find as many as they can and hope one breaks out into a star.

If I try to keep it somewhat realistic and with no trades...

#10 Carter
#29 Tyler Smith or DaRon Holmes
#32 Jaylon Tyson or Dillon Jones

I assume Dadiet will go before 29.

Cody Williams or Devin Carter at 10
Dadiet, Tyson, Jones, McCullar Jr at 29/32
I think part of the reason we may not take a wing at 10 is the wings around the 20-35 range are fairly interesting imo. Those are all solid bets at the end of the first.

I’m not sure that there’s anyone I would argue is “unrealistic” at 10, my bet is that the mock drafts are very off this year. Ideal to me would be:

Castle or Williams at 10
Trading 29 and 32 for a top 20 pick

I'd be happy with Cody and Filipowski.
I'd be intrigued if the Jazz take Buzelis, Knecht, Carter, Edey, Carrington, George or Ware. I'm still okay with Topic, but I hate the idea of trying to develop a wunderkind lead guard with injury issues, like we experienced with Exum.

Would like to see the Jazz trade up to 5 or 6.

I like drafting young, freak wings who can become two way players.

Matas on a tradeup is my dream scenario

No trade... Salaun or Cody Williams hoping he becomes Jaden McDanielsesque.

No clue on the late first round picks. I would hope we could snag Topic after he falls big time with the 29/32 pick being combined to grab him around 20.
