This dude has been extremely professional and great for the team IMO. He was getting DNP's for like the first 10 games of the season and when we really needed him, he really stepped up and contributed. Dude has played some great minutes with some great shots. So... Thank you sir for stepping up big time when the injuries started piling up

He was a big contributer in a few of these games during this streak. He gave us points at times when shots weren't falling, and made an impact on D too.

+1
I hope we can keep using him as necessary when Rudy gets back. I would like to see him play along side Rudy a few minutes each game.

As a starter... 10 and 5 in 20 minutes... shooting 50% from three. His defense has been fine and he plays with a good energy. Spreads the floor.

He's been huge!

Much better than I expected. And at a pretty cheap price. DL should trade the other JJ when he gets healthy. Would the Cavs take Johnson for Frye, filler and their late 1st? Crowder has been disappointing, so JJ could step right in.

I think they consider that.

If Favors keeps playing well, they definitely send that package for him. I would demand they include Osman.

Jazz would have to take on longer salary to get a 1st. Frye also seems pretty damn important to their success.

You'd probably be looking at Johnson for Shumpert if you wanted that 1st (although I'm not sure about the filler salary since the Cavs would likely be extremely averse to adding salary this year due to the tax ramifications. Maybe Crowder?).

Anyway, love Jerebko. Loved the signing when it happened, but the level he's playing at is something else. If I'm being a realist, I'd say his numbers have to come down, but **** reality.

Would anyone really be interested in trading Favors to get back garbage salary and a late first round pick? Honestly, I'd rather just swap him for Crowder or keep him.

If LBJ stays, Cleveland will keep spending. And honestly, with LBJ on board, I bet they still make a ton of money after paying all the taxes.

If Cleveland got Favors with the ability to re-sign him even if they are well over the cap, he is a fantastic addition for them. They can't buy a PF/C on the market who is near as good with only the vet minimum. Depending on his performance in the playoffs, he might end up being a smarter and cheaper long term center option than Love.

I was talking about Joe Johnson.

I think Favors' fit is more questionable considering that Tristan Thompson is somehow important to them, and that they already have two elite floor-spreading bigs (one of the most important pieces to have on a roster with Lebron).

Either way, I think having contracts that expire this season is valuable for the Cavs since there is A TON of doubt that he stays. I think he's gone, personally.

I would definitely take Crowder for him.

At the end of the day, a late first round pick is better for us than no late first round pick. Frye and the 2018 Cleveland first is better than nothing.

Also, I seriously doubt Cleveland is making a lot of profit. The lack of revenue sharing means the most profitable teams will always be teams from major markets and their TV deals/astronomical gate prices. The Luxury Tax is also no joke in the revised CBA.

Somehow I doubt they don't. There is probably a lot of added money just having Lebron on the team. And while Cleveland might not be a major city, Ohio is a largely populated state. Not sure how TV markets work, but if the TV market for Cleveland is all of Ohio, that is a pretty big market.

Joe Johnson and Udoh (since he is the odd man out of the Jazz are going to try to workout the Favors sitch and there is a salary-matching issue) for Shumpert, Crowder, and their late 1st. Cavs get better, shed a ton of bad salary.

The difference between "pretty big" and legitimate metropolis + region is massive. Furthermore, that market is economically depressed as hell.

I googled it and they have the 7th highest TV contract.

And I'm not sure how much economic depression has to do with it. Detroit has a top 5 contract and it's Detroit.
