The official "let's impeach Trump" thread

I don’t think so. For example, Trump referred to his supporters who deliberately drove to where the protestors were gathered in Portland, and who used paint balls and bear spray against those people, as “GREAT PATRIOTS”. He would never repudiate them, they are part of his base. He can’t afford to.

And these were the people in Charlottesville whom he was referring to when saying there were “fine people” on both sides. These people seen in this Vice report from Charlottesville were the “fine people” Trump referred to. He never comes right out and says “Neo Nazis are fine people”. He does not have to. It’s always quite easy to know how he feels about people like those seen in this Vice report, and he always finds ways to reassure them he is on their side. Always.

When he said “there are fine people on both sides”, it was these people who would have smiled and exchanged high fives all around, upon hearing that. And I’m sure he knew that. He knew that, and it’s that truth that goes right over the head of people like pjf. The important question is “who took comfort from those remarks?” The Neo Nazis did! That is the point you guys continue to deny.

Trump is always careful not to completely repudiate followers like this. QAnon, for example, is the most recent group that he can’t completely repudiate, because he knows that people who believe that he, Donald Trump, is going to break up a ring of Democrat-led pedophiles and baby eating cannibals are part of his base. Imagine that. Being unable to repudiate such a belief, because you want their votes. That is some intelligent base, lol. Instead, he said “Is there something wrong with that?” Well, Donald, now that you ask....Most rational human beings would call such a belief “nuts”, putting it mildly, but we’re not talking about a rational human being. We’re talking about the leading proponent of conspiracism-thought alive today.

Some of Trump’s “fine people” at Charlottesville:

The thing about real conservatives who believe in traditional American values like the Constitution or even, say, baseball and apple pie, is that you just can't get them organized. It's like herding cats. They believe in independence individually, they just don't really go for the same kinds of tactics you will see socialists use.

I have been at some organized operations run by leftists or progressives, and some events like Republican party caucuses where candidates are being voted on. I have actually observed paid stooges coming into those events. You know they are paid to stir up something politically, to create dirt on Republican politicians, to get certain Republican candidates off the upcoming ballots.

I don't know of course who pays them, but they are not real Trump "base" people in the the case you cite.

You know a lot about internal operations of political agenda wonks from the Left. Do I really need to tell you about it? Do you really need to foul your political nest with this kind of poop?

Election hit pieces are old as time. Happens every cycle. Coney dropped a bomb on Hillary that killed her chances. Kerry was swiftboated. Romney with the 47%, Obama clinging to guns, etc.

C'mon dudes this should be easy

I did not find that the Trump campaign, or anyone associated with it, conspired or coordinated with the Russian government in these efforts, despite multiple efforts from Russian-affiliated individuals to assist the Trump campaign.”
-Robert Mueller

"I never saw any direct empirical evidence that the Trump campaign or someone in it was plotting/conspiring with the Russians to meddle with the election,”
-James Clapper

“I am not in possession of anything—I am not in possession and didn’t read or absorb information that came from out of the intelligence community.”
-Samantha Power

“To the best of my recollection, there wasn’t anything smoking, but there were some things that gave me pause,”
-Susan Rice

It’s a shame they never examined Trump finances. Trump’s connections to Russians of ill repute, the Russian mob, began years ago. Any leverage the Russians might have over Trump are likely in the financial realm, but Trump publicly warned Mueller not to investigate his finances, and we now know Rosenstein told Mueller to stay out of any counterintelligence investigation into Trump and Russia. More then 1000 former federal prosecutors did sign a statement saying the obstruction of justice incidents Mueller touched on were sufficient to bring charges(but, obviously, not against a sitting president, except via impeachment).

It’s a shame it now appears no counterintelligence investigation was ever completed, either by FBI, or by Mueller, as journalist Michael Schmidt points out. But, with so many Russians laundering money through Trump Tower, including owning an entire floor above Trump’s own company, his associations with Russians began early, and, as Donald Jr. indicated, much of his money was coming from Russia, once banks stopped lending him money.

Rep. Schiff was to look into the financial angle, but I’m guessing the refusal to comply with subpoenas made that investigation a tough slog as well. At any rate, Trump’s track record in fawning over, and agreeing with, Putin can likely be best understood via a counterintelligence investigation, and financial investigation(as commented upon by the Maddow video I posted last night). Looks like nobody actually looked for where the smoking gun is likely to be found.

Besides red. Intelligent answer and much appreciated but I'm done dealing with these other guys. I wish you would've responded sooner.

To your point if we're going to go after Trump than we should do the same to every politician that's somehow filthy rich off of a political salary.

@gandalfe why are you a Nazi?

I have multiple sources who said you are. By your own standard what I say is true.
I assume, therefore, that you have vetted their credentials and run it by your editor? Verified their story with multiple interviews and crosschecked the dates, times, and locations to verify feasibility?

Here's the AP's guidelines. I believe this is fairly standard.

The Atlantic, specifically, skews slightly left, and is considered reliable for news, but also has a lot of opinion and analysis, according to Ad Fontes

All of this typing, all of this work, all of these facts, with actual witnesses, quotes from investigators to prove my point and the return intelligence I get is void. Not one of you have provided an intelligent response and resort to childish memes, whataboutisms, and just flat out stupidity like" my wife and a dog", a 30 second video years old, and some sort of stupid anogolgy about getting your house broken into. These are not answers, well they are cowardly answers.

This is why I left in the first place and am leaving again. I'm part of other boards where a simple yes or no is answered. Where people can use their words to explain their idealism. Where people can explain what law was broken. You guys are not smart plain an simple. I am embarrassed that I wasted my time but I admittedly forgot that the intelligence here is to not answer a simple question and resort to "look over there" tactics. A staple in the party.

Peace you worthless conversationalist. Be ready to lose again because the average American sees through your indoctrinating and ask the same questions I do.

Asking for evidence is not rocket science m
You don't provide any simple yes or no answers. You move the goal posts. You are afraid of actual discussion, and intellectually dishonest. You really are a demagogue. The very definition of sheep.

Yes, but unlike above this is a shot gun blast right in the middle of Trump's base.

In the end I doubt much comes of it unless Maddox or Kelly goes on record as saying they heard it.

So the Atlantic owner is a mega Democratic donar, Biden supporter and is close with said author. Lol SHEEP

Shotgun blast to the face

Fox News correspondent John Roberts further added: “. @AmbJohnBolton told me today that if @realDonaldTrump had said he didn’t want to visit Aisne-Marne because the interred heroes were “losers” and “suckers”, he would have written an entire chapter about it in his book #TheRoomWhereItHappened.

So trump is speculating that Kelly is the anonymous source now. You know why? Because trump knows that Kelly was there when trump said it lolololololol.

Just a reminder that the phrase "i did not hear" is different from "it was never said." For the dummies who don't know that.

I guess we have to believe everything that bolton has said about trump then. lolololololololol.

Trump likes troops "who weren't captured"

The Trump administration has decided to shutter Stars and Stripes, the award-winning independent military newspaper that began during the Civil War and has continuously published since World War II. The publication has broken many important stories, including highlighting predatory or unethical practices by military brass.

Lawmakers from both sides of the aisle have been trying to prevent this move for months. “Stars and Stripes is an essential part of our nation’s freedom of the press that serves the very population charged with defending that freedom,” fifteen senators said in a letter sent to Defense Secretary Mark Esper.

Even Trump sycophant Lindsay Graham has attempted to save the paper, writing to Esper, “as a veteran who has served overseas, I know the value that the Stars and Stripes brings to its readers.”

But the administration announced it is going ahead with closing the publication as part of cost-cutting measures, ordering it to stop publishing by September 30th and setting a deadline at the end of January to dissolve it completely.

We all know Trump is not a fan of the press or accountability, and Stars and Stripes has won awards for its reporting on important issues affecting members of the military.

Despite the president’s insistence that he is “done more for the military than almost anybody else,” the closure of this vital resource speaks louder than his words. With its excellent reporting and editorial independence, the paper has held military leadership accountable in a powerful system that has little oversight. One of the best ways we can protect and support our troops is to ensure Stars and Stripes continues to exist.

Sheesh, are we ready to agree that JazzyFresh is the worst active poster in this board.

Honk if you agree.
HONK! Also, i have noticed that PJF hasn't posted during the time that JazzyFresh has been on his rant. Hmmmm

Griffin also addressed criticism from Trump and his supporters who have focused on the fact that the sources cited in The Atlantic, Fox News, and a host of other outlets were anonymous. She noted that Deep Throat, the source behind Watergate, was an unnamed source, indicating that it's long been a legitimate journalistic practice. Griffin did acknowledge she'd prefer to have her sources appear on camera, but said "you can see how people get destroyed when" they come forward with negative stories about Trump, which has made many people "reluctant" to do so.

But you believe an anonymous source from a magazine that is a mega donar to Biden over 7 actual witnesses who have no reason to hide their name and a guy in Bolton that has zero reason to lie.

Brilliant but scary. Being a meth addict has done bad things to your brain.

It's funny how druggy fish, victimized Noas and others here not too long ago were literally crying over things like military spending and even wanted to slash it in half but now hypocritically act like their care about the military.

Different idealism depending on the day.
