How can anyone expect our government to focus on anything of importance when the leader of our government thinks it's important to focus on arguing with a child on Twitter?

President Trump on Thursday mocked Greta Thunberg after the Swedish teenage climate activist was named Time magazine’s Person of the Year

“So ridiculous,” Trump tweeted. “Greta must work on her Anger Management problem, then go to a good old fashioned movie with a friend! Chill Greta, Chill!”

It’s not the first time the president has used his Twitter feed to mock the 16-year-old.

Trump has long had a fixation with the Time distinction, which he won in 2016. The following year, he claimed that Time editors had told him he would “probably” be named Person of the Year again, conditional on an interview and photo shoot — which he said he refused. He also claimed he should have won the award in 2018. (“I can’t imagine anybody other than Trump,” the president said then, referring to himself. “Can you imagine anybody other than Trump?”)

Jeez.

Mitch isn’t even pretending to make this impartial, is he? This is just so unbelievable to me. Are Americans really cool with this??? The precedent being set here... Mitch is essentially erasing impeachment from the Constitution forever and ensuring that a smarter president will exploit this to their own advantage. Is Mitch sure this dictatorial President will be from his own party? What if it’s a liberal Democrat who wishes to abuse his/her power and erase the 2nd amendment or give everyone health care?
