The Official "Let's Vote Trump Out" Thread!

Trump is the epitome of "nothing to offer"

I don't get this thinking that it takes some great candidate to beat the worst President in U.S. history.
Even if you think Trump is the worst president ever you won't beat him with these 75 year old socialists. America is just not into full blown socialism. The Democrat party seems to be running on that platform but in reality, it's fringe.

There is one democratic socialist running. One.

None of the rest of them are advocates for socialism.

This is the problem with the Democratic party. This is the reason that Trump will win. They have a bias that is so pronounced it takes away all credibility.
Can you really not see anything good that Trump has done? Can you really not see anything he can offer? You really think he is the worst president ever? If so, this a failure on your part.

To be fair, this was the issue for Republicans in Obama's second term. Failure to appreciate reality.

Trump has done some good things. Pardoned a few people that deserved it (and some that didn't).

He's done a lot of awful **** too though, which balances the scales out of his favor. I'm not sure I'd call him the worst president ever, though he's in the bottom tier.

Also, I don't think Gameface is a Democrat fwiw.

A lot of Trump supporters don't participate in these polls. In 2016, Trump was able to mobilize a number of people who were considered unlikely to vote in prior elections. This is, in part, why they were underrepresented in polling. Trump has 95% favorability with Republicans and has gained several points of traction with independents during this feeble impeachment attempt.

The Dems are going to need a dynamic and energizing candidate to beat Trump, and it sure looks to me like they don't have one. What's more, the party is still split. If you think that fervent Bernie supporters are going to enthusiastically mobilize behind a different candidate (like Biden, Buttigieg or Bloomberg), you're likely mistaken.

please list the Trump successes that we are supposedly missing. And please don’t mention the economy. The economy was doing just fine under Obama and he did it without adding billions to the deficit.

Honestly, I’ll never understand how people justify trump. Id think having free and fair elections would supersede any accomplishment. Accepting Russian help in 2016 and then forcing Ukraine to help in 2020 I’d think negate any positives he’s accomplished. But whatever. I also think using the office for personal gain, running roughshod over the constitution, and compelling an entire party to be loyal to him (not to the country) would also be important. But apparently not.

I’m actually really interested in hearing about these “positives” that I’m missing. The positives which somehow supersede Trump’s cheating, obstruction, and overall unconstitutional behavior.

Why does he get 49% approval then? He must be doing something else right besides sucking.
Because the economy is good. And people are partisan as ****.
Can you tell me a president who got less than 49% approval?

What candidate Democrats have to vote Trump out? I think as scary as it is Trump will be re-elected as opposition just has nothing to offer.

Nothing to offer? If you don’t think Democrats have anything to offer regarding the biggest issues of our day: health care, climate change, education, then it’s safe to say you need to do more research. You might not agree with them. But to say that they’re not offering anything is incredibly ignorant.

Im losing track of the reasons why (Trumpers claim) Democrats will lose to trump. So far I’ve heard:

Hillary
They’re elitists who look down upon real Americans
They’re not offering anything
They’re catering to the young
They’re catering to the old
They’re catering to the establishment
They’re catering to the extremists
They pursued impeachment

I just can’t keep track of the reasons why people who secretly already know they’re voting for Trump. I just wish they’d be honest and stop making excuses for their vote.

I'm far from a deficit hawk, but it's really fun to see conservatives completely OK with the huge, tremendous hole Trump has blown in the deficit with his tax cuts for billionaires. It's going to make arguments over Medicare for all and other spending programs a lot more fun.

Serious question, what’s the difference between Democratic Socialism and Trump’s economy policy towards farmers? I know socialism sounds scarier. But what’s fundamentally different from government giving farmers billions in handouts?

Right. And for what? What was gained? At least Obama rescued our economy from free fall. Deficit spending was warranted then. Republicans pretend that 2007-2008 didn’t happen. Who was president then? They act as if history began Jan 2009.

The Trump economy isn’t an improvement over the Obama economy. It’s just a continuation of it. And Obama did it without giving tax cuts and exploding the deficit.

I'd vote for anyone, including those who I have extreme policy differences, counting on checks and balances to limit big government trends. I'd even vote for Bernie or Elizabeth. Because I could never look my kids in the eye and say anything other than I voted against the guy who supported executing the Central Park 5 (after they were proven innocent) and led the racist birther movement. Among other reasons.

I'd also vote for the Jazz Bear over Trump. Or a real bear. One with low IQ and mommy issues who lives in the Dad's basement playing video games and watching porn.

Or a piece of belly button lint from a real bear with low IQ and mommy issues who lives in the Dad's basement playing video games and watching porn.

((((I hope that wasn't impolite))))
