We know that Russia interfered in the 2016 election to help trump win the election. The Mueller report was unable to conclude with certainty that trump asked for the help but was able to conclude with certainty that the assistance was given regardless. (Lots on convictions including multiple Russians came about due to that investigation)

trump, is a man who insults anyone and everyone unprompted. At the drop of a hat. World leaders, fellow Republicans, people's wives, his opponents, his allies, children on Twitter ..... Literally insults everyone...... Will never say a bad word about Putin or Russia. Even if given the perfect scenario and opportunity to do so.

Trump sided with Russia, North Korea and other enemies of the US in voting against a UN resolution supported by our allies and Russia's enemies that condemned the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Oh I forgot about the time trump tried to extort/blackmail zelensky as well. I'm sure Russia was supportive of that endeavor.

Oh and I also forgot to add that trump gave Tulsi Gabbard (Russian asset) a cabinet position.

This conflict will define a future Ukrainian identity and Zelenskyy will be it's hero.

Zelenskyy just wiped his *** with everyone that has been involved in trying to make a peace deal to save his own country. He thinks he can wonder into the White House dressed like cobra commander and dictate terms and thumb his nose at everyone’s efforts. How can he be that dumb? He wants every Ukrainian dead and his country completely demolished apparently. What a stupid egotistical dictator. The dictator of the most corrupt country in Europe went to the White House looking for more money to launder not looking for peace.

I agree with you that Zelensky probably waited to turn him down on camera. I think you had it 100% on the nose. Zelensky wanted to be a big man who would stand up to Trump, and that is exactly what he did.

Speaking of disrespecting the Oval office, did anyone else hear Trump call Biden stupid while he was ranting? That's respect!

At some point, Putin is going to murder that brave man Volodymyr Zelensky, the US will be accomplices in that murder and you should all be ashamed of it.
 
When this new wave of extreme right lunacy eventually step aside again (how ever long it will take), historians will look up at Zelenskiy as the person who embodied what's right and how you should be acting. Trump regime will be remembered as the worst "western civilization" regime of all times. And it's not even close

Just shows how much of a produced attack it was, the right wing hack journalist just waiting with a question about respecting the office. Diplomacy as a **** sitcom. Zelensky emerged from the White House with his reputation as a statesman enhanced, the United States emerged from that meeting with its international reputation in tatters.

You don't do a deal with Hitler. Ukraine has a war worth fighting for - it is just unfortunate that the US doesn't stand for the values it used to before. Trump is a****ng tool and the only dictator in the oval office.

And when Zelenskyy, trying to address Vance’s comments says, as Trump begins to bellow, “May I speak….”, Trump says “No, you’ve talked enough already”. All a deliberate set up. In part designed to show Americans, when Ukraine is tossed aside, that Zelensky showed his true colors! He disrespected the Oval Office, he did not show he was grateful to us, did not thank us enough. (Vance asked if he thanked us in that meeting, as if he had not. But he said thank you in his opening remarks.) That’s why they wanted Zelensky to be triggered by Vance. That was the domestic reason for attacking Zelensky. Trump knows he is letting Putin have his sphere of influence.

We’ve favored isolationism before. 1930’s comes to mind. Personally, I think this new world order makes a much bigger war more likely, not less.

How stupid it all was, how stunningly lame it all was, to hear Trump, and his millions of brain dead apologists screaming “Russia, Russia, Russia! All a hoax!! Russia Russia Russia…..” Yep, that’s right! And those with eyes to see knew all along there was an unholy alliance in the making. And it had nothing whatsoever to do with the ideals at the foundation of our nation, the ideals and values we profess to be what we stand for. You know, the attitude reflected by patriot Thomas Paine, which I posted earlier.

Not anymore. Trump would love a new Axis of Evil, the world divided among autocratic Strongmen. That is what Donald Trump wants. As well as the implementation of Project 2025, who one prominent Trump apologist told us was, in so many words, a fiction of our imagination. Now we see Project 2025 in full implementation mode domestically, and an alliance with one of the modern eras mass murderers in foreign policy. Both weaken the United States. Both therefore benefit Putin. I don’t think it’s an accident at all.
