It's official, AK is next that needs to go. Memo would also be nice, but he will be harder to trade. I don't care if they get $10 in monopoly money, he really needs to go.

Also, if Deron is booed tonight you all are idiots.

Problem is that most fans in attendance are not even members of this board. I fear that those fans will be the idiots. All tey have heard for 24 hours is that D will is the cause. He is going to get booed, and he is going to start to pout. I am usually very optimistic about the Jazz and its players, but I just can't see a way out of this for Deron unless he leaves town. If we could get Steph Curry , udoh and multiple picks as Ford is suggesting we should seriously consider that deal.

Makes me wonder why people would want to come to utah in the first place with fans like this. AK will be off the books no matter what so why pick up more garbage players teams don't want? Wonder who the fault is going to be when dwill leaves when his contract is up because he is pretty much saying he is out of here already.

We need more of a bench. It's just a matter of fact. If AK can somehow be parlayed into that.. well, you know. But he probably can't

I agree and disagree. It will be nice to have Ak off the book but the idea of trading him is to get a new mix of bodies. that haven't lost to teh Lakers and Spurs this year. And to keep Dwill happy. But if we fail at that. I like the Idea of Curry, D wright. Edok and a 1st rounder. That would be a great team to rebuild with while staying in the playoffs.
 
Starting in a year or two, it will be easier for a team to come out of the west than the east. If the Jazz can get a legit 2-guard and a player with AK's salary slot, they're contenders.

I'm hoping that we just straight up dump AK for nothing; it saves Greg money and guarantees us a lottery pick this season. Then dump Okur and make a splash in free agency.
 
Isn't NJ under the cap? If they are they can take on more salary. If they are then give us Morrow and call it a day.
 
Boy another trade AK thread. Never seen any of these in the years he's been with us.

Guys, listen, if he hasn't been traded by now, I seriously doubt he ever will.

You recognize his value to this team then? AK has been solid this year, IMO. He should have great trade value to a contender right now. I wouldn't mind seeing the Jazz back in the lottery, but word is this draft class is more scraggly than your ball hair.

If we resign AK, it definitely won't be for the max. I definitely don't think any other teams wants AK.
