When are the Lindsey and O'Connor statues gonna be erected at ESA? I wanna be there for the ceremony
only way we can get you to utah
Hayward stepping up as a leader and longest-tenured Jazzman. That's a reason to be EXCITED.

So did anyone else wake up wondering, "what is Dennis Lindsey going to do for us today?"
So, let's say the Jazz get the #5 pick next year. Favors and Kanter both have big years, they both average 15+ and 10+. Jabari falls to #3. Would Kanter and #5 be enough to move up to #3? To the right team, he very well could be.
I agree. Lindsey is playing chess with a bunch of checkers loving GMs. So many different reasons to have hope. To me I think that this gathering of multiple picks over the next 5 years is towards one end. The 2014 draft. Yes people will be hesitant to trade out of that draft but what can a package of one of the C5 (depending on their evaluation this season), 2-3 first rounders (2-2014 & 1-2017) and up to 4 second rounders get? I think it is a major haul.
Make an offer that they can't refuse and in the mean time Utah lands their player and becomes a power house again.
Or we could just draft one of the other superstars in the top five and keep kanter...
This. Why would you want to trade a legit NBA big AND a probable all-star just to move up and grab Parker (if he falls). Way too much. Now if we gave up the #5 plus Burks, I'd be ok since Parker and Hayward would be the starters at the wing positions and Burks would be pushed to the bench.Or we could just draft one of the other superstars in the top five and keep kanter...
The West has gotten a lot tougher, with New Orleans and Portland making good moves, heck even Sacramento is getting 'better'. I think our FO is seeing this and knew what the Jazz had to do. Evaluate our talent and get picks/cap space. I love it. I went to 12 Jazz games last year and the most exciting parts was always when the young 'uns were playing. Now we get to see that everynight, even if the Jazz lose some games. Way stoked
