The Real Problem with the Team and Starting Line-Up

It's not just Burks or Watson--remember, he also cut Demarre out of the lineup to keep Watson in. I'm not the biggest Ty hate on this site--I think the front office signed these crusty, mercenary vets and now he's stuck with them. But the Watson thing really gets to me. He does nothing for us, there are people on the bench better than him, and if he plays over any player it will say something about Ty's inability to do the right thing. Mo coming back will be the day I decide on Ty: If Watson takes the backup PG spot, then I'm on the fire him bandwagon.

How about this? Mo is more of a combo guard anyway, so how about our pg/sg combo when he returns: Burks, Mo, Foye(regrettably) **** Watson and Tinsley.

this is you being neutral about corbin? You defend every move he makes

I attempt to explain and find the reason behind every move he makes rather than blindly bash it. Yes, I guess that could be seen as being a "spin doctor" but it's just how I choose to view things. I feel a lot of posters just look at things from one angle rather than really looking at it from multiple perspectives.

I see why he does things (he trusts the vets and is scared to make them upset) but when a guy is playing the best he can possibly play, and having a career night, you play him.

I don't need some stink'n stats to tell me that Carroll is better than Marvin or that Tinsley should be the backup PG and Burks should start until Mo gets back. When Mo gets back then Tinsley sits and Burks is the backup. I think Evans should play before Marvin plays any more.

I think the Jazz should have traded either Paul or AJ as soon as they drafted Kanter. I know he wasn't ready but Favors should have been starting and Kanter could have gotten about 15-18 minutes. If the Jazz moved one of the vets they might have been able to get some future assets (picks) but now they are either going to end up re-signing these guys (disaster) or losing them for nothing. I do not know if I can take anymore of the signing vets to play over the young guys.

I've already said multiple times I would have gone Favors over Millsap.

This is all purely speculative, and a little unfair, but do you think Roger's blowup with Ty over his minutes getting cut last year has made Ty apprehensive about cutting Watson's? A guy who's been outspoken about getting his minutes.
