What's new

The realization that I've been a member of JazzFanz for nearly half my life

Who were you on the old site? I may remember you.

Never mind I figured it out. I remember you redjazzfan from the original Buckner thread.

For those who do not know, the birth of Buckner thread started when Greg Buckner was possibly a free agent acquisition an The Pearl said he would rather have Quinn Buckner. seattlejazzfan leftyjace an I think a poster KM32 something jumped on it.

I'm pretty sure I joined sometime in 2005. But since I come and go, I'm probably at about 4 years of posting (most before the Crash of 2010 heard 'round the world). This means I've spent 7% of my life as a Jazzfanz poster.

I joined pre crash but have no idea how long as well. It was at least a few years before 2010. #Neverrevealyourprecrashname

Although I think there is a thread that started right after the crash where a lot of people posted their BC names.

I do not remember an I was a minor poster. I met a lady at the Stockton jersey retirement in 2004 an she said she was there with people from jazzfanz an that I should check it out. I signed up about a year later when I discovered the internet an quit posting in 2007 or 2008.

Oh an I remember RJF to cause that jazzgirl15 or something always posted happy birthdays even to the Turkish people in that forum an we have the same birthday so happy birthday rjf.

Is jazzgirl15 still a poster? She was a moderator an I liked her.

We've gone through some fights, some love connections, and some great Jazz teams.

All we need is a title, and a ride off into the sunset.

Man, time flies.
I have no idea when I started on here. 2006? 2007?
Pre-crash, for sure.
Time changes everything. Go figure.
At least Jason's gotten re-married. I can't pull that trigger yet. Not just yet...

I was recently thinking about how I first started on JazzFanz when I was 16 and a sophomore in high school. I'm going to be 32 soon and found it somewhat baffling that half my life I've been perusing around here.

What a time.

I am in the exact same boat. I turn 32 in December and was posting here in my early high school days. I remember talking in a thread when the Jazz drafted Kris Humphries that it was crazy to think that a player on the Jazz was younger than me!

What was your name back then?
