C'mon man, give me a break. Do you think any sane person would read this forum to identify the definition of an "Alt" or whatever the hell words there are on here. I'll be the first to vociferously state "Hell no!!!!", I'd rather eat glass, digest it and allow it to shred my bowels! Sorry for vivid picture, but dude, I've followed this forum for 6 years because it actually has great jazz content after filtering through all the bullsh** your talking about.
What does all this paranoia stem from? I'm just here to meet passionate jazz fans and discuss related items, not defend my fu***** identity and reason for being here. Am I going to have to state this with every post or thread I'm involved with?

Don't know or care if you're an alt or not, but the problem this site has sometimes, is that people begin to personally attack people who don't agree with them rather than arguing their points substantively. It's kind of like one nation starting a war with another nation because they don't believe in the same religion.

No it's not. Nations don't come with an ignore button. It's more like having multiple pen pals that are in fact the same person.
