The TRUE Chuckers of the UTAH JAZZ

Hayward ended up shooting 5-11, which, though not great, is not too bad. Sure he missed some he should have made, but 5-11 is hardly not being able to hit the water if he fell out of a boat.

...he had 3 dunks or layups.....he missed ALL of his outside shots, even though he was WIDE OPEN! Couldn't hit water if he fell out of a boat!!! At least last night.

come on now.

1. the numbers are pretty close and i think the sample size is still too small to use this stat against players. also howard and jefferson played some games injured or coming off injuries.

2. the team is playing way better than anyone expected. with 2 rookies, 2 sophomores and (maybe) no all-star they are in the playoff race and have close games against top teams. there is no need to trade players at this point which probably will stay this way.

I love how you guys think Al is the problem. The problem is there is no other option offensively. He's shooting so much because they keep giving him the ball and praying.

And most of the time it's working.
Considering that he's the second-worst on the team in turning possessions in to points (and just barely at that), I wouldn't say that it's working.
