What's new

The Walking Dead

I doubt Daryl really is going to care. If I were in a zombie apocalypse I wouldn't appreciate being the guy who is called on to go find everyone, especially by a lazy bitch who doesn't do ****.

well it's jsut a reason for daryl to stay/be one with the group

kinda like how mcnulty came back to mcu. at the end of season 4 after body got killed and the supposed "new day".
sometimes writers need to give charatcer reason to do something

If you picked this week to give up on the show you should reconsider tuning back in. Tonight was definitely the best show of the series.

I'm excited to see this new side of Hershel. The way he stood up to Shane and told him to STFU put a huge smile on my face.

I hate Lori more and more each episode.

The awkward/angry/sexual tension between Daryl and (I forget her name, but the mother of the dead kid) is so weird.

Glenn disappointed me for the first time. He could have gotten some heavy sexing for bringing back Hershel, but instead he gets all emotional about not wanting to die.

Still hate the actors of Rick and Shane for their annoying overacting.

The blonde girl (don't know her name, the angry one) seems like she is going to drop to her knees and blow Shane every scene they have together.

Shane and Rick just need to get their crap together. Rick has the better approach but Shane usually makes the better decisions. Mix the two and you are set.

Main complaint I have is that they seem to have unlimited ammo, gas, food...I say that since we never see them scavanging for it.

They live on a farm, I don't think food is a problem. They also live right next to an uninhabited town.
They have probably stock piled on gas, it's not like they take the cars out very much, so I doubt they burn through much.

The ammo thing is curious, but it's not like they go through that much ammunition on the show.

I am sure they have it all figured out. It just annoys me that they never show the task of it. Farm life is hard work and yet everytime we see them they are all just hanging out. If they are farming that is great but apart from the group that lived at the farm non of them are farmers. Also foraging for gas, ammo and non grown food would mena hunting and foraging trips into town.

For example they go to the pharmacy and get birth control pills but leave everything else? You pick that place clean allt he way down to oxyclean acne pads...

My complaint about this last episode is bringing the kid back to camp. Let me get this straight: You're going to patch him up, feed him, use your meds on him, blindfold him drive him out to Walker territory and turn him loose? Sounds like a bullet to the head might have been more resourceful and easier.

In a world like what they live in certaint hings will be worth more then gold. Bullets would be one of them. Cigarettes and salt are two others.

You leave that punk kid where he is and let the walkers eat his leg off. Survival of those that take it.

now you give him a fighters chance.
it's all about evolution if he is strong he survives. if not then sucks for him.
thats the way it was before society turned to crap.

Should have just left that kid for dead. Only the strong survive.

Amen to that.

One thing that I would look to be doing those is recruiting others to my group. Especially people like doctors, engineers, military, teachers, farmers... Wether I recruited them or not depends on how we met. In the case where they met the kid they way they did I would have let him to the Walkers. Now say if I had found him alone cowering in a motorhome during the freeway scene with the "herd" I would have taken him with me (being helathy or saveable of course).

Or the weak come back as Walkers.

hahahaha

I liked the fact that they saved the kid. I mean, he was shooting at them, but Rick and co. did just potentially kill one of his friends or family members. Can't really blame them for being angry/wanting revenge.

Survival of the fittest sounds nice, but it's not like anyone in the current group would have survived without the help of others. The current group has lost members (****, Shane killed one of them) so I don't see a problem in taking in someone else. I think remaining human is in part keeping intact your morals and doing onto others how you would like to be treated in a time of crisis.

I agreed with Rick shooting the first two, because they were threatening and asking them to take care of their entire group (who knows how many), but this was a case of saving a persons life who had been abandoned.

I'd tweak "survival of the fittest" to "survival of the fittest group". Try to add to my group but if you threaten their survival in any way you are toast.
