Sim Bhullar could be the first Player of Indian descent to play in the NBA. He is a WHOPPING 7-4, with a 7-11 wingspan and is 330 LBS (Down from 370 the year before). His is only 17 and probably isn't done growing.

He has committed to Xavier and will graduate HS in 2012.

Won't be good in the NBA most likely. Yao was a rare case. Most people who are that tall have zero coordination or foot speed and just get wrecked. Not to mention the injuries that come from being that tall.and heavy.

I saw highlights of hima year or two ago and he looks slow and ****ty.

And he's lost 40 pounds since then (allegedly). I don't believe we can very fairly discount someone that hasn't even graduated from high school yet. Another 30 pounds down, and who says he can't be just as quick as Yao was (which was quick enough most of the time)?

And for what it's worth, Yao had T-Rex arms. If this kid can show any kind of level of polish that Yao did and stay healthy, he could be a big deal.

Or he could just be too slow. We'll see.

Just like Kenny George and Sun Ming Ming. He will slowly disappear and you will never see him in the NBA.

It's pretty bad. However, he looks like he's in terrible shape and he has a few years to get his body fat % in check and face better competition which will force him to simply be better.

Regardless of if he ever touches an NBA court or not, he is a legitimate giant. Ogre-ly in proportions.

I feel bad for these freakshows.

They'll never be able to live normal lives. Finding beds, cars, shoes, clothes, etc. The only perk would be to cash in on the size. But oftentimes their careers are short. And too often, human beings of that size suffer from terrible health issues. From bad feet to heart failures. Humans just weren't meant to be that big.
