I dont know why Jazz didn't even interview Avery Johnson when he was available..

Now Thibodeau is available, Shouldn't jazz at least interview Thibodeau maybe as assistant coach?
 
Dude no way he's taking a job as an assistant coach. As for Avery Johnson, do you have a complaint about the current coach? Because maybe they just didn't go after a guy they were not impressed with or did not fit their vision of the future.

I'd bet it has something to do with Johnson's inability to take criticism and direction. He's the coaching version of Deron Williams.

Yes, I'd love Thibs as a defensive coach.
 
They probably can't stand Avery Johnson's voice.
 
Jazz have their coaching groups set.

Also Thibs wouldn't even laugh at an assistant coach interview offer. He'd just hang up.

The miller family is too cheap to hire Thibodeau. They would not even pay Jerry market value. He gave the millers a hometown discount for decades. You watch, when Quins contract is up he will leave to LA or somewhere because Millers will refuse to pay him.

Dunno why thibs is so beloved. Has only made it past the 2nd round once, his offense always sucks, and his rotations force his starters to play 40+ mins per game.

He's an ok coach (not even close to a championship one) but his value has seriously become so overrated it's boarding on scary. He's the Lovie Smith of Basketball.

Good enough to keep you competitive. Never good enough to win it all.

People forget how stacked this Bulls team was and they went out without a wimper.
