I swear to god, this is the worst coach I have ever seen. I don't get why he doesn't let the best players in the game to play till the last second!! Enes Kanter, Favors and Cj did a great job and they were the main keys to be back in the game after trailing by 21. But this guy keeps making the same mistake every time !

Agree to disagree..... I do think the kids were gassed but on a roll. Watson asked for the timeout as he was gassed as well. Now the rotations to end with them could have been different but he was force to go back to them at that point.

Seeing a lot of over-reaction on the board tonight, and this is one of them.

That said, did Ty really call for a 2 point shot/play going to Big Slow with 12 seconds left and down by 5? Really? What are the odds on that? Your only chance is to make a 3, put some pressure on them, hope they miss a FT, and get another 3 for OT.

Going for 2 means they only have to make one of 2 FT and you are screwed, down by 4 with maybe 5 seconds left. Bad, bad, strategy, kinda reminds me of Ol' Jer and his hate for the 3 ball.

Can't really blame Corbin for hating the 3 ball because we are dead last in %.

I disagree with the starters coming back to finish this game and a previous game. The backups got us back and gave us the lead. 2 of the last 3 games I felt that he should have let the players that made the run stay out there.

That said at least the team fought back. This was a game the team could have quit in and they did not. Much better than last nights game against NY.

I agree. Terrible. He killed our team. And it isnt a difficult decision. A blind guy would have seen.

corbin's done this multiple times this season. instead of riding the hot hands and letting them finish the games, he pretty much subs all the starters back in or pulls all the young guys and lets all the vets close out the games, or he becomes paralyzed with fear and refuses to take out vets/starters who are completely gassed (remember the TOR game where he played the same guys for basically the entire 4th quarter and 2 overtimes?) to me, i take that as a sign of weakness, like he's letting the other team dictate his matchups. he should be making the other team play HIS game. in my opinion, kanter owned hibbert all night and subbing him out for jefferson was a mistake. letting kanter close worked against aldridge and POR.

Funny how people are criticizing Ty for the EXACT same thing that Sloan did. It was the major flaw with Jerry. He would stick to his rotations. I thought Ty was going to be different at the beginning of the season but he has now reverted to what Jerry did. It is SO frustrating and I have grown tired of it. It seems to me that you should ride the players who are playing the best.

It was true that Watson was gassed but Ty didn't have to replace the whole lineup. I would have put Hayward/CJ/Kanter/Millsap in with Harris being the PG simply because Watson was gassed.

Ty has terrible 4th quarter coaching....that's a fact.
Like when you're down 5 with 12 seconds left...yeah go for that 3 ball

Please post more.

Corbin is coaching as if to not hurt player's feelings...forget the egos...and the playoffs. We've seen the ceiling with the vets on this team...let's see what the kids can do, and learn.

Does anybody feel like Corbin sits down before the game and writes down all the min the players should get, and once the game starts he just sticks to that? It's like he doesn't make changes based on the way the game is played. Also, why the hell can't Burks get in the game? He could have gotten some players like George in foul trouble!

I'm not surprised Watson was gassed, but there's a guy named Jamaal Tinsley on our bench who can play PG too. We DO have a deep bench which coach Ty under-utilizes, IPO. I'd even give Jeremy Evans more minutes. Just once, when the starters come out looking slow and sluggish, I'd like to see coach Ty bench them and go to the subs early just to get the ENERGY up!!

Too many fairweather fans, bandwagoners observed recently... Just like the ol' Jazzfanz.

Just because when we win it gives the illusion that his methods are working. I like his philosophy on the court. Hate his rotations, and the decision making that goes there.
