The funny thing is, we didn't even tank!
Bad offense that consists of turnovers and jumpers (while ignoring favors and kanter down low) is what we do best. Slow rotations and zero effort defense? That's been pretty consistent this whole year. I mean, haven't we been one of the worst defensive teams throughout this season?
Really, not much out of the ordinary. Nick Young going off wasn't even that shocking. We have let guards go off against us all year long! Anyone else remember the defense we employed against the Warriors a week or two ago? LOL!
So to me, it's hilarious how the Lakers think we tanked. We absolutely didn't tank. Our chuckingness took over offensively and our matador defense (and going under screens against SGs) took over.
