What's new

**** this!!

Favors and Kanter are shorter than Kevin Durant(clearly). i know they have lots of wingspan/standing reach, but are those 2 plus Rudy Gobert really going to be the Rotation at C??

i think not. the jazz aren't tanking next year..

Favors has explicitly stated hes a PF.

so unless the plans to bring in another C, i dont see how its in the Jazz best interests to move Jefferson, especially if hes happy settled and maybe ready to give us a discount

Not to mention you will play more physical and take more fouls knowing you'll only play 15-20 minutes.

so if jefferson gets his minutes from last year

and Favors and Kanter keep theirs, but also split Millsaps minutes,

according to your physicality/foul/minutes formula, will they be playing phsyical and taking more fouls, or they will lower the intensity for those extra minutes.

or do they only lower the intensity for starters minutes? i dont get it

wtf?

Jefferson will be back... obviously

what has led the sheeple to believe otherwise?

what theyve seen? what theyve heard? what they know?

if he gives the jazz a nice contract, how could S+T'ing him now

be more fortuitous than near the trade deadline? ( when aging teams are desperate )

methinks Al is the starting C all year... maybe we move him next offseason, but probably at the Deadline in 2 seasons

Good to see you back bro. What happened to you during Draft time???

didnt the jazz give up their 2008 1st round pick, and 2 other 1sts for Jefferson?? think the FO views that experiment as, such a failure its time to cut ties?

isnt 3 1st round picks basically what just landed Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, and Jason Terry?

what makes anyone think the jazz FO will want to cut ties with jefferson after investing that much?

are the jazz are the type to eat crow, for the betterment of the team???... i think NOT(see raja bell), you dont pay 3 first rounders for 3 seasons and call it even, if the jazz lose jefferson for nothing it makes that trade way worse than it should be, but if they resign him and continue extracting value it could be a winner.

Al's delivered on his part of that trade so far, he made some nice changes in his game last season... the jazz are gonna pass the reigns to a rookie PG, with a bunch of bigs on rookie contracts....? OKAY

Hes grabbed about 2,000 rebounds and scored 4,000 points for the jazz.

can someone convince me that Favors and Kanter are ready for 33mpg without getting into foul trouble??? (is there any evidence of this?)

this should catch you up on how this has de-railed into a bit off topic, and how the substance of what i say is evaded, im flattered that everyones concerned with me personally, but im really just here to converse about basketball, not myself

yuck,

Jazz FO = braindead
I agree, yuck.
I think there's a reason sources have said the Jazz are meeting with Millsap tonight, but there's no mention of Jefferson. I think there's a reason Big Al wasted no time in moving out of his SLC residence as soon as the season ended. Lindsey was the point man in SA for their advanced metric evaluations. I trust he's not blind to the stats that showed Jefferson as a component in all of the Jazz' worst lineups. Regardless of how the Jazz feel about Enes as a starter or the 3rd big, I seriously doubt Utah will make ANY offer to Jefferson.

why is there no mention of Jefferson???

heres why (according to me)

Jeffersons people are waiting on dwight to move...

Bynum's too, id imagine

why would you begin negotiations with teams who think they still have a chance at a better C (dwight), they are gonna leverage that... if you wait for Dwight to move, you have Al and Bynum and a Restricted Pekovic, or even Kaman or a restricted Splitter... those are the options, actually i forgot Zaza Pachulia

any teams hoping for David West might now have to turn to Al

As free agency opens, the Charlotte Bobcats are pursuing Jazz forward Al Jefferson, a league source tells @CBSSports.

That would be a great argument, if both favors and kanter were not taller than al jefferturd...

And what evidence is there that he will be back? Everything I've read indicates that he won't. Millsap is more likely as the Jazz are meeting with him, but he is also doubtful. As for Al, he sold his house. Why would he sell it if he were staying? If the Jazz resign him, I think half the board will leave, maybe even more. I'm already so fed up with Corbin, I'm still on the brink. Just hope we stick to the rebuild and develop the young guys.
