Three Keys for the Jazz Next Season

1. ticket sales

2. The players to play hard so that people will want to go to the game and buy stuff.

3. Beat the lakers. (making laker fans cry = success)

I know that this is not what you want, but Im a jerk so I did it anyway.

How do you know what I want? On a side note, happy 100th post some two years after creating your account.

1. Toyota sales
2. Chevrolet sales
3. Ford sales

If sales are UP, count on $ being available to sign, re-sign players, even exceed the luxury tax in a couple of years if needed.

yeah i was just messing with you.

hard to argue with their keys. #2 is huge. the next 10 years of jazz basketball hinge upon the next step for those two guys.

The short version (read the whole thing for more):

1. Tyrone Corbin needs to prove that he can coach.

2. Favors and Hayward need to make the third-year jump.

3. Shoot the 3 more (I'm assuming the author means more accurately) and foul less.

Making it to the playoffs in his 1st full year (if you can call it that without a training camp) with a team that was predicted by many to finish near the bottom end of the Western Conference isn't proof he can coach? I think he needs to prove he can be a top coach (over time, not just this year), but he has proven he is a capable coach already.
