What's new

Throw money at Goran Dragic this summer.

No real great PG prospects in the draft and Dragic will be an unrestricted FA. I can't really see the Rockets being able to keep him since they have tied themselves to Lowry. I think Dragic would be a good fit and he's still young where he could grow with the team.

Only thing would be what do with Harris.

I once thought that dragic was a one hit wonder but I am liking him more and more. I say you give Harris to any team that will take him. Hell I would take a second rounder for him if we got dragic.

I actually really like the dude. The PG conundrum will be KOC's biggest challenge with the 'Future Jazz', IMO.

I think if you want drop Harris' salary that is fine if you replace it with a SG or SF like Igguodala. Then draft a Lilliard or Marshall and keep both Tinsley and Watson.

You know how old Nash is dont you?

Yes. But still better than most PGs.

And would be a great mentor for whoever the Jazz will draft as PG of the future while going for deep run. Coupled with a great SF pickup, who should be both a great defensive SF and a good outside threat (i don't know though if such exist), maybe Jazz will get lucky.

I got news for you. Dragic isn't going to make any difference or put us over the top. What do you do, just wait until any free agent becomes available and say throw money at him? Do you even think about what you are saying?

I've always like Dragic and thought he could be a good fit, but at this point I think we should just try to take a PG in the draft.

Houston is struggling just like the Jazz. I think it will be down to the wire in terms of the playoffs. So Jazz may not get a pick.

Dragic would be a decent fit. But he's not worth breaking the bank. I'm still holding out hope KOC sticks to what he said about some trades over the summer. I think he set a few things in motion, just like he did with Jefferson. Of course, some of that may have depended on Utah having one or two picks.

I'm down with signing Dragic, in the instance that we don't draft a point guard. The guy has some killer clutch genes

I like Dragic, I don't think he is a solution, but he would be an upgrade as a backup for sure. With Harris playing much better I think we need to draft a PG, and keep Harris though.

Dragic is a better fit than Harris. Is he a better player? That's debateable but he has yet to peak and Harris's career is on the downslide. Not sure who we can get for Harris, but a first rounder in this draft might be nice. Is this doable and would any team do that?

Do we have the cash for what some other teams are going to offer him. You could trade Harris to free up cash, but at the same time dont you have to take on other contracts to make any trade work. We are better off drafting Marshall.
