What's new

Thursday October 7th Portland (Insert caveman Joke no one gets but me) @ Jazz

2:58 UTA - K. Fesenko misses a 4-foot jumper in the lane

FAIL
Sadly, the rest of his performance speaks a bit better than that. Fesenko bumbles the ball, recovers it, and assists to Evans for the sky shot.

Fes misses an easy shot but at least was position. (Fes is barely a rookie in minutes played.)

i know it's not a do or die game, i know that we might lose this one and it doesnt really matter, but... it's the blazers, i've been waiting for too long to just lose the first game, at home after having an 18 points lead :P

Fes pulls a sick spin move and then nails the under side of the rim with the ball. Oops!

I've been impressed with him though, seriously.

I hope that Sloan gives Watson some minutes to get acclimated.

Locke has said repeatedly that Bell is tutoring players on the sideline (something that the likes of Mark Jackson and even Derek Fisher didn't seem to do as much.)

Utah's backups played most of the 2nd quarter against Portland starters or borderline starters (Fernandez, Miller, Matthews).

I saw on a Portland board the Dwill is "angry" about Jefferson not getting the Jazz system and always being out of place. Anyone heard or read about this?

I believe Blazer fans will start any type of rumor that implies DW is unhappy so they can go after him in free agency.

LOL; Nissalke says "I love Haywood." Not only did he mispronounce his name (multiple times), he picked a player who was far less distinguished statwise than Evans or even Jeffers.

What we were not able to see is Hayward dribbling well, which Nissalke commented on.

Lulz x2: Did Scotty G just call him Spencer Hayward????

What's more, Scotty claims that Nissalke has always been a Fesenko fan. My recollection has been that Nissalke has been on Okur's jock for a long time.

Tommy Nissalke is predicting that Fes is going to be a good scorer. (I predict that Nissalke is going to be a pretty good bandwagoner.)

Yeah, it sounds like Hayward has brought the ball up multiple times, drove in to pass, etc. I'm not worried about his current statline.
