Yea because KOC doesn't look like an idiot for drafting Morris. If KOC was worrying about upsetting Jazz fans he would not have drafted Hayward. I doubt it was the reason why he passed on him and if KOC did pass on him because the fans would torch him than he is an idiot.

The Spurs made one of the biggest mistakes of their own by giving up Scola.... No way they let an even more talented player in Tiago... I've followed Euroleague and ACB for years and I frankly believe that; his character and talent makes him better than most of bigmen playing in the NBA right now, in my list. I would be more impressed if we somehow got Splitter instead of Big AL.
Splitter and Tomic go at it often. I have to say, Splitter is tougher, more athletic, and stronger than Tomic. Although they play each other hard.

Last time I watched the two play, Tomic absolutely destroyed Splitter. With that being said, I think the Spurs just got much better.
Tomic is 2 years younger though, and it was his first year in a good League in Spain. Sure Splitter is better now, but in a couple of years, Tomic might easily surpass him. I would say these two guys are comparable talents (factoring age), maybe Tomic has a higher ceiling even - since 2 years at that age makes a huge difference, and Tomic is not that far behind today. I think if Tomic comes over next year, he will at the very least be a good back-up.
