What's new

Timberwolves. Tonight. 8 pm Texas Standard Time.

Wiggins is coming along nicely.

Dumb Cleveland

I'd still take our roster over Minnesota's.
Shockingly, me too.

Wiggins nearly tips me thier way but I think we have a better balanced team, better coach, better chemistry, and probably more valuable assets for the future.

Wiggins might be better than any one player on our team in a few years though. I think Hayward, favors, gobert, and burks (that's right mutha ****ers) will all make an all star team in thier careers. hood is a very nice player. Hopefully tomic comes over in the next few years. We have lots of future draft picks, including a lottery pick this year. We have a great coach imo.

I just hope exum pans out.

The future of the jazz is very very bright.
Brighter than the timberwolves I think

Wolves will have a top 3 pick this year though. Barring injuries their talent pool is deeper as well.

Yeah, but they also have money tied up in Pecovic and Rubio, who are very flawed players with injury histories.

This.

Here's another fun one. Since 1985-86, only 3 Jazz players have attempted 20 or more FGs in a game and shot 20% or worse. Those players are Trey Burke (4-22, .182), Jeff Malone (4-21, .190), and Big T Thurl Bailey (2-20, .100). Sadly for Trey, the Jazz overcame the performances by Malone and Bailey to actually win those games.

Lol, I brought up J Malone a while back when talking about Trey's inefficiency. Probably the most frustrating player I've ever had the displeasure of watching. Not at all surprised to see Trey challenge Malone as the most shameless chucker to ever play for Utah.

Minny is going to be better than the jazz next season.

Lol, wtf? Utah has been kicking *** and taking names while Minny has been a bottom feeder, but none of that matters because we barely lost one trap game? Leave the overreactions to the kids, please.

Still my point stands. Give them Snyder and they will run deep in the playoffs within two years. Jazz, however, appear like losing one of Hayward, Gobert or Favors turns them into a lottery team, which is a very fragile situation.

Maybe.
That's too bad then cause I don't think exum is ever not going to be skinny.

Then again I have seen dudes that are not that skinny have season ending injuries too.

I watched Exum's dad a lot when he play in the australian league, he had a reasonably solid build I think Exum will fill out with time. It's still just frustrating as to the way he doesn't drive when that's what his game was based on.

Was interesting listening to DL say last week he'd like to take a nap and wake up when Exum is 3-4 years older and has figured out how to impose his skills on a game. they still seem fairly certain he's still going to take off at some point.

As far as Lavine goes, he reminds me of skinny Pete from Breaking Bad ..
