Any news on when they expect to activate Tinsley?
Any news on when they expect to activate Tinsley?
If anyone remembers it was about 11 1/2 months ago i wrote here that it was about time Tinsley got some playing time. And was roundly hooted out the door. So you would maybe imagine that i would not be unhappy about Tinsley being signed again by the Jazz. But you would be wrong. Tinsley and Watson were the undoing of the Jazz season. Someone should have been brought in instead of leaving the teams success (or lack therof) in the hands of a couple of over-the -hill journeymen players. To see the Jazz responding to this situation with the same answer is very disheartening. You cant win NBA games with your guards scoring around 10 points combined, not per game, but in a week sometimes. I kept expecting that they would find someone, anyone that might give the Jazz a chance to win but that never happened and they missed the playoffs as a result. That says to me that winning was not the main concern at that time. I struggle to see why it will be any different this time. Granted we might have our rookie PG back a lot quicker than we got Mo back last year. The Jazz have always functioned off the PG's leadership and counting again on Tinsley to be that man seems ludicrous to me. I sincerely hope i am wrong.
The Jazz went 20-12 though while Tinsley was the starter. When Mo came back they went 11-12. I do agree that having Tinsley as your starting point guard isn't going to do you any good though.
I remember a lot of that being the schedule
Well then I wish the Jazz would've traded up to draft a PG who they plan on giving the majority of the minutes to (when he's healthy again)
Oh, he's active. The Jazz currently have only 10 healthy bodies for Wednesday night's game. Hopefully they do Tuesday's practice and Wednesday's shootaround with all players wrapped in bubble wrap.Any news on when they expect to activate Tinsley?
