agree with Mo being the Terry guy for us. He would be underwhelming as a starting PG on a team that needs creation and passing. Harris wasn't great in those departments but Mo isn't all that better

devin "doesn't fit the team"?? we have a ton of young guys that need the basketball. devin is far better at forcing defenses to react to him because of his elite speed and his ability to get into the lane. favors, hayward and paul will all have better opportunities to score if they're on the floor with devin.

mo "fits the team" better than devin in one way: he provides a needed shot in the arm in our long-range arsenal. but that doesn't make him a better fit as a point guard, and if he were our started it would take about three weeks for the players around him to get bored and the fans to turn on him. and if you don't believe me, go ask lebron and some cavs fans if i'm right.

again - mo will help, if given the right role. he can be our jason terry -- come off the bench, score in double figures, and often close games to spread the floor.

Elite speed and ability to get into the lane? This isn't 06 Harris, he isn't terrible but he finishes poorly at the rim and definitely lost a step

You have to reward a guy for running with you. Especially if you are a pg and the guy to pass to is bigger and has a better chance at finishing. It pisses players off when that happens.

I agree with this. Harris would keep the ball most of the time. Josh Howard did the same thing.

seriously, as much problem as our second unit had scoring last season, i can't figure out why mo with the second unit isn't instinctively the answer. he'll also finish a lot of games with devin and probably average close to 30 minutes.

and then our injury contingency is faaaaar better than it was last year.

Thank you for being the voice of reason. Not to mention that if you play Mo at the 2, then that either means that Hayward is not playing much or Burks is not playing much.

The Jazz need to decide who hey want long term. Is it Mo or is it Harris? The last thing that I want to see is that the addition of Williams means even less time for on young wing players.
