Found a couple things interesting in the article Tony Jones did on DM in the Athletic.
Some parts from it
“I had to look in the mirror,” Mitchell told The Athletic.
The play in question happened last Monday night. Mitchell ran a pick-and-roll with Gobert. He got into the paint off the dribble, saw Gobert rolling to the basket and threw him a pass. That pass bounced off Gobert’s hands. Mitchell, frustrated, showed that frustration by throwing his hands in the air. And he knew he was wrong.“
“Mitchell was frustrated. His teammates were frustrated. The Jazz as a whole also were frustrated because there had been several ugly losses that probably should not have happened. But Mitchell has always endeared himself to his coaching staff and front office for his ability to recognize his own flaws, accept criticism and try to improve. And film that next day told some tough truths. Mitchell wasn’t making the extra reads. He wasn’t making the right reads when getting into the lane. And too often, he wasn’t finding the open man, making the game easy on his teammates, or himself.”
“I just had to see it,” Mitchell said. “I had to apologize to Rudy. My body language was awful. I realize that I have to be a better leader. I just have to be better all around, and that’s something that I’m going to always have to keep in mind.”

I mentioned in a couple threads how Donovan’s body language had been terrible of late. The Lakers game was really bad. It’s nice to see he noticed it as well and was reflective enough to want to change it. He wants it, and that’s a great thing. Just gotta channel the passion.
What a great lesson for us all.
