What's new

Told you Rubio is not going to help us. He's a backup PG at best.

That sounds great on the days when he's not injured or ****ting his pants. And on the other days? DM is our biggest hope for a really good season. The sooner Quin recognizes that the better.

Wait, recognizes what? That the Jazz need to rely on a totally unreliable player to suddenly become totally reliable, or that the Jazz need to rely on a guy that passes the eye test but actually has sucked so far?

He scored 15 points in a quarter. You'd have to be blind to not see his potential.

I just hope Quin doesn't worry about feelings being hurt and lets DM play through his inevitable ups and downs. Obviously Quin knows, he has unleashed him a few times already.

every problem the wolves had has now carried over to the Jazz. You have 2 bigs that set screens for a guy who can't shoot. That forces the defender to totally sag off, A. rubio isnt gona shoot and B. rudy or favors cant hit an outside shot.

this guys a disaster.

Worse still - he can't get to the rim anymore and has never been able to finish.

And the evidence you show to back up your assessment is a video made by the same idiot that said he would take Hassan Whiteside over Rudy Gobert? Lol.

You don't think there is evidence from the pre-season and the first 5 games?

I said this back during the trade deadline. Rubio will probably never be the starting PG for a 50+ win team.

He's a back-up on a good team or a starter on a average to poor team. The issue in the video shouldn't be a mystery to Jazz fans. We went through this for 10 years with AK47....how many times did we hear "oh, if he can only shoot jumpers like this every night". But he never did. And Rubio probably never will. And The Jazz with AK never became a force until other players became the focal point of the offense.

I like Rubio - it's hard not to. I want him to succeed. But the parts are greater than the whole when it comes to Rubio - it just doesn't add up to winning basketball.

Please everyone, check stats of GEORGE HILL.

I was extremely nervous about the amount of money we were throwing at GH. Trend stats on PGs his age are not pretty. Plus, injuries. I think we dodged a bullet. May be addition by subtraction in the long-run.

Way to much panic after 5 games. Just wait for couple more wins when Rubio will have double doubles with pts/asts and everybody will be hailing him as new Stockton. Typical bipolar fans.

No one disagrees Mitchell should continue to play, but it's lunacy to suggest that the best development path is to let a rookie shoot whenever he wants regardless of whether the shots are good or go down.
