OK what's the story on Tomic. This morning driving to work there was a national expert indicating he might be part of the draft day fun. I thought he was on a long term deal with his Spanish club but does he have a buyout and is their a ghost of a chance he could end up in a Jazz uni?
 
Wondered when this would come up. Jazz have the money if they want him. Should have aggressively pursued him last year if that was the case. Easily could have doubled or tripled what they paid Tibor. I doubt there's and fire to that smoke. Wouldn't mind if he did come over. Think he's a great fit behind Gobert for what Snyder wants to do. . . But I think he's happy in Spain.
 
The one good thing about getting Pleiss is that it put a damper on people talking about Tomic.

But the guy on the radio made it sound like he was going to end up in an NBA uniform next season either with the Jazz or part of a draft night trade.
 
I think Tomic still might come over. I think the reason he has not and does not seem interested is because Jazz have had a lot of talented bigs that would block him from playing. I think the most likely scenario for him coming over is if he likes a team/coach and he is part of a trade.

Trade his worthless ***.. but play hardball. If he really wants to play somewhere squeeze out everything you can from it or just hold out, don't do him any favours.
 
Tomic's never coming over unless he gets traded to the Fakers or the Knicks. He's wife is the one that is wearing the pants plain and simple.
