Tomic's highlights, he might be the solution for lakers big

an interesting wrinkle in the trajectory of Tomic's career will involve the contract of one Deron Williams. I've already stated my belief that the Jazz must acquire a big name by the beginning of next season, but I also think a (somewhat) valuable asset for the FO's case to present to Williams would be a developing Tomic.

What I'm trying to say is that the Jazz have a very real reason to bring him over for next year to see what he can do. If he shows promise, and if the Jazz can keep the best of the core, plus add a big name, plus offer DWill tons of $$$, then it could be hard to walk away.

Tomic will be roped into this saga.

The problem here is that you're assuming that Tomic absolutely wants to come over here next season. He can always say no.

I didn't make any claim about Tomic's desires. Of course he can say No. I said that the Jazz FO have a reason for wanting him to come next year, and that is connected to Deron. simple.

then choose the basketball player option

1. You can copy and paste the actual link. Crazy, I know.
2. I should've been more specific. I want to know when and where he got this listed weight. Athletes are especially prone to drastic weight changes and not every measurement is as reliable as the next on top of that. He could be anywhere between 260 and 220. I love wikipedia, but in this regard I have no reason to trust his listed weight there.

He misses a lot of the shots he takes in that video you posted.... doesnt seem like NBA material to me yet... that's probably why he isn't over here yet...

his current season shooting percentage (48.2%) would be the 3rd best on our team and good for second best for players who actually get minutes. His euroleague career percentage (54.9%) would be good for best percentage on the team of players who get minutes.

I'd rather have a bigman that is willing to take a charge instead of the fouling that our bigs always do.

Tomic can't be any worse than Fess, Memo, or Elson at this point.

At 7' 2" playing against vastly inferior competition overseas, 48% is pathetic for a feature player that's been drafted by an NBA team.

These highlights are old. Since then he sort of fell on his face in the Fiba competition, and is now having a so-so year with Real Madrid. The comparisons to Gasol are not accurate, Gasol was a VERY explosive player early on and dunked the ball on everyone. Tomic is slower and more methodical, sort of like Al Jefferson (gasp)

I'm going to read back through this thread and block all future posts from anyone who thinks Tomic is NBA material from that video. Go join a water polo or cookie baking website because you don't know a damn thing about basketball.
