What reason have you heard? What's a good reason for closing a lane on a road, not related to road repair?
We simply cannot have that.
That guy in the white house seems to be exactly that, no? Unless of course you are naive enough to believe he never "knows" what's going on either when it reflects poorly on him.
42% of people consider themselves Independents.

Anywho, I don't like Christie so I hope he goes away. There was gallup pull today that was encouraging; 42% of people consider themselves Independents. Time to get rid of this duopoly once and for all. Time to move onto better things like Libertarianism.
Great. How come the republican and the democrat candidate for the president got 98% of the votes combined, then? And republican and democratic candidates in the House and Senate elections that same year got 96% of the total vote.
Because people don't want to "waste" their vote, so they'd rather vote for garbage than for someone who doesn't have a chance. The political machine has pushed this idea pretty hard. I call it the tetter-totter to hell. We just keep swinging from giant douche to turd sandwich as if it makes a damn bit of difference.Great. From what I understood there was the need to close a lane for some study or something. It was going to happen anyways.
I've seen claims this is true, but so far, no actual study has been named, at least that I could find.
